however if a particular EO doesn't give you the maxed out/allowable zddp additives anyways (eg: going to SL/SM over SN), it's pointless anyways.

and imho the only time you REALLY need increased zddp additives is really spirited driving/high rpm constantly.
this is based on my experience that i fuel cut (7k+ rpm) my 4B10 engine on a very constant basis running on 0w20 engine API SN EO and yet my wear levels (for a new engine that's still breaking in) were considered very minimal that is backed by a used oil analysis lab report.
