6.5J et35 more easy to find but if u r on stock height then u won't sagat. I DIY roll mine only at the rear just in case sagat but before I roll also never sagat unless those really big drop wavy road. I'm also on adjustable 2 fingers at rear and 3 fingers front. So far I use on track day and time attack no problem. No touching of fender or anything

Look carefully, the entire undercarriage is not even meant for sedans. It seems like either the owner too damn rich, baught a GaGa & shell it on a 4x4 or the GaGa has an engine blew which replacement engine will cost the car laugh.gif no choice die die go get an old hilux & shell the GaGa on it laugh.gif

The last time I use Iridium plugs lasted like forever in my old Mitshi 4G92p. But since I'm having a Kampro, I took the heat transfer into account. In view of COIL ON PLUG setup, provided a Fiber valve cover which makes a perfect combination of disaster. I'd rather stick to copper to prevent my coil packs get gelled. You may wanna consider my suggestion and revert back to copper core. It's not going to be pretty when you seek for the coil packsin your country, coz it aint easy even in the almighty GaGa own home land.
Joe u were using Iridium rite? hmm.gif
*
IIRC, yup..but it could be the plug and could be other things also. Just my opinion

QUOTE(wankel @ Dec 13 2014, 11:15 AM)
I anticipated Joe's problem when fitting the iridium and used some silicone grease on the upper end of the tube where the rubber bung seals, I'm hoping it may help to avoid that drama.
Thanks for the warning, I'm taking note.
I also think I could easily adapt pretty near any coil on plug to work.

come to think of it...im in the same boat now  cry.gif

Actually, this problem I think maybe not just due to the plug type cause I have saw a few cases at SC here the COP rubber broke also when the proton tech change the plug for some Persona and gaga and owners was furious when they were ask to pay for it. I believe regardless of what plug you use there will be heat and the place that hold our COP rubber boot is made of metal and the heat transfers directly to the rubber boot and the rubber boot is a really tight seal with the metal tubing. After my initial damage I have apply some high temp rubber grease meant to be used for brake caliper o ring around the rubber boot and the metal tube. This hopefully can solve the problem of the boot sticking to the metal tube overtime.

Also try not to overtighten the COP too much as it will force the rubber boot to go in much deeper and this makes thinking it out even more difficult. Just tighten bit that much is enough.

I've already ordered a set of Ignite Rev from TM Works Japan to replace the plastic rubber bottom plug of the COP. TM Works Japan know the rubber boot sticking problem so they made some enhancement to their rubber boot line up for Campro COP. Hopefully when I get these babies in. I will be able try them out to see if they are easier to remove after installed. Price of these is around MYR450-500 depending on the conversion rate. Which to me is a good price because I know TM Works products that sells here are much higher due to the import taxes and such.
Image is for reference, actual product for the Campro I will take pic and post it here once I got them.

Above is just my opinion and idea it could be wrong or could be right.

Please keep your COP don't try it the top part still can be used. The damage part is only the lower part and it can be removed easily.

my SC also spoiled my coils twice when changing spark plug, said proton parts problem. i suspect they force it too hard or didn't wait for engine to cool down first. change to proton service no problem so far

that port and polish so geng leh, if do outside sure expensive one right, how long u spent diy-ing port and polish the head?
*
No, I didn't remove the head coz I do with hand..only port match I use dremel. I put a vacuum cleaner beside the port when I Port match n pnp so all the debris won't fall inside. Much longer time (3 days), much more tiring and much backache. I remove intake manifold then place a tilam on top of engine and lay with stomach facing down and do....

very interesting modsĀ  rclxms.gif

Backyard DIY polish air box funnel stock air box?
Backyard DIY stage 2 port polish TB open the throttle body? when put back car does not give any problems?
Backyard DIY intake valve polish and port match this one involves opening the top part of the engine is it?

Backyard DIY cop grounding this one will do, still looking for wires
David DIY ular Oren this one done, although the wire i got locally (welding cable, pure copper they say) is questionable
Backyard DIY head cover repainted coated with high temp base coat this one very tempting
Backyard DIY 2-1 WORKs modified OCT this one i use 2 iswaga fuel filters, somewhat works
*
1. I'm using stock air box.
2. My TB I put back no problem.
3. Refer above reply. I didn't have tightening torque figure that time so if I open head I die..I also no plan to change the to gasket so no open. Hahahaha

any pics for the result of no 1? or just remove the small2 fins inside the airbox? dremel=pahat correct?  rclxub.gif

The air box top part you remove and flip over. You will notice proton design a funnel like runner in that but since it is injection molding on the funnel runner will have a injection flash which I remove and polish away until smooth.
