QUOTE(leeyitloon @ Nov 30 2014, 08:44 PM) Mine cvt light oways on 3~5sec anytime anywhere... Cvt sendiri high jor ADAPTATIONIn order to compensate for the manufacturing tolerance, an initial adaptation for the clutch is required after: a reflash of TCU software replacement of TCU, or a replacement of the transmission. The CVT check light flashes once every 2 seconds if the initial adaptation is not performed*. This can be realized by performing multiple shifts between the tramsmission positions during ilding. Adaptation can be performed without additional equipments. CONDITIONS Throughout the procedure Vehicle being stationary Accelerator pedal is not applied Stable engine indling speed Stable and warmed-up CVT fluid temperature Foot brake is applied PROCEDURE warm up the engine and transmission shift to Neutral (N) position for ≥ 5 seconds shift to Drive (D) position for ≥ 5 seconds shift to Neutral (N) position for ≥ 5 seconds shift to Reverse ® position for ≥ 5 seconds repeat 2 to 5 for 20 times* (apply foot brake thoughout this stage) shift to Drive position gradually accelerate to >50km/h gradually stop the vehicle complete *if only the transmission is replaced, the CVT check light wouldn't flash, hence the need to repeat the shifting 20 times to make sure that the adaptation is completed. If the CVT check light is flashing, the procedure can be stopped once the CVT check light has stopped flashing and turned off. UPDATE #1: it has also been reported that a long period power disruption to the system may cause the TCU to loose the adaptation data, hence the need to readapt it before the vehicle is driven. This is to prevent unnecesary wear in the transmission and certain drivability issue due to poor clutch engagement especially for vehicle with high mileage |

QUOTE(carcraze66 @ Dec 2 2014, 11:43 AM) oh tadi kita dah check dan kita sudah "forget is reflash or reset" ecu dah.. only proton can reflash,i can oni help u do cvt clutch adaptation, the proton u went damn swtcox me no rike vios, me lika gaga hahaha i already give up lol...cause before this i read thru the user manual and also saw most of the people who post online regarding the CVT light, when its on the max speed is 30km/h if im not wrong and that scares the shit out of me but recently when i saw the cvt light turn on for that few secs, i tried to accelerate and can exceed 30km/h wor i also dunno whats wrong hahaha.. btw guys lets say we use the bluetooth obd2 reader, can we actually read the error code? instead of asking plotong sc to check it? which normally the answer is tak da masalah |

QUOTE(dares @ Dec 21 2014, 06:28 PM) YAB, normal Popiah xde yellow kaler. Popiah ST (179bhp mia) also tade yellow kaler in bolehland colour is just exterior outlook, most important is the poop under the hood..and the driver and his balls...lolThe only yellow kaler Ford that looks like Popiah is the Pokus ST (6 spd manual 220 bhp) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « So either you ran into a Pokus ST, or some beng Pesta / Pesta ST owner go and paint his car yellow. If you ran into a Pokus ST than u r lucky, I only ever saw one on the road, also yellow with black reising straips. This is just based on your description of the kaler la, but anyhow clearly that driver has more skills than me This post has been edited by Mahihi: Dec 21 2014, 06:38 PM |
