im just wondering what hsf can i use for my cpu coz the cpu placement is near the edge of the board and close to the psu in my casing

Do you all experience any temperature problem with new bios? I am having 68C reading with coretemp for both core. But using biostar monitor is 37C. Weird

Bro... all ES version still cant fully support the Core Temp or TAT, so thats nothing wrong with this mobo bios. Dun worry about it ~~

Last time my Gigabyte+ Retail E6300 also have same problem..
BIOS temp reading should be diff with TAT or Core temp.
Normally BIOS reading is lower.

minna.. got a lill prob wit my965pt.... in bios can read the cpu fan speed.. but the given software cant read the fan...(mb5 oso cant).. btw im using 965duluxe cd for the driver and software....

Ur retail also got this problem, also report on lowest temp or highest temp?

im not using the given software anymore..but last time its ok...maybe u can used others program to monitor ur reading...i recommended u to use EVEREST ultimate edition...

When will 965PT release their new BIOS..
Argh.. now DS3 also can hit 505Fsb with E6300 alrdy with their new BIOS.

u r using what cpu multiplier? n divider? to get ur ES running at 3.6Ghz..i notice if ur ram is at 543Mhz...

BTW how to get higher vDimm?? 2.2v is too low. I want to clock my RAM now.. try get higher clock @Cl-4.

on 965PT??? u have to do the vdimm mod...

But i saw last time they have one converter.. dunno where to buy.
I tot the converter is bundle with mobo one.. b4 i purchasse it.

then do the pencil vdimm mod by pcmodding lor...easier...
anyway e6600 doesn't need high ram freq to oc it...unless u r using e6300...
9x400Mhz = 3.6Ghz
8x450Mhz = 3.6Ghz
i think ur d9 already nice without the vdimm mod...

But tight lanterncy can get better Super PI.
Now using CL-4.

there's d9 can run at cas 3...try it..maybe ur chip is one of them try at 3-3-3-8 400Mhz

Now cant alrdy.. last time Gigabyte vDimm can set 2.4v to run CL-3.
Super PI @ 3.0Ghz faster than 3.15Ghz. Use RAM to pawn them lol.

ehh.. wat is cl 4... izzit the first number in ram timing... btw i saw this setting in bios errmmm... the max is 1.5vc if not mistaken... seems like to abort something if v rise to 1.5v(if i set to 1.5)...

its call cas latency...yes the 1st number ...example 4-4-4-12..should be cas latency 4...
the lower ur cas with higher frequency is the best....

owh.. and for the nonsense explaination of the bios option.... edi found what they call it...FSB termination... and MCH voltage.... what r these option.. how do u set ..n bout pci-e thinggy(dunno the term) .. the default is 100... i just ignore this option coz dunno how it works... maybe that why i got vga error led ....
