Is funny reading that is OKay to sell one of your ex top player to a PL top team.....

Is that tongue in cheek or are pwople here serious?

Modern football, its ok as long we get to win..

For me no, i hope he either stay at liverpool as utility player or go spain/italy somewhere else. It'll be heart breaking see Gerrard wearing diff color jersey in England. He gave so much to Liverpool.. He teared, still cant believe it im seeing him on tv teared after a match. Sigh

Our crucial penalty taker, noooo

at our current state, none of the striker works for me cept for Sturridge or Lambert as plan B.

perhaps January transfer should all out focus on finding a striker. At this moment hoping Sturridge comes back on Chelsea game..

U know you not gonna score much goals with these strikers, at least try not to lose a draw would be ideal. Hope BR learn his lesson like example last season against Chelsea, over confident in beating them and should played for a draw.

If those losses turn into a draw, we would have been 18pts by now

QUOTE(wadefak @ Nov 5 2014, 01:41 PM)
Borini actually did well during the last few games. its a bit disappointment to read a few sources saying that he'll leave in January when we need all the firepower we currently have. he did make a few good runs and manage to control the ball well up front only to be disappointed when no one is following up on his moves.
*
no doubt Borini is trying very hard to impress, he has pace but still lack of something. To save Liverpool's season, owners need to fork out more money to get a strike partner for Sturridge. At least if Sturridge injured again, we will still have 1 quality striker. If they were need to sell b4 buying by all means, go ahead sell the fringe.. you have no choice to cut the lost and get 1-2 quality in.

Too early to promote these young players that we bought earlier. Well quality "proven" striker may come with a price, but you cant have all youth players playing for you in CL, that is a disaster.

For me they need to keep Gerrard at all cost, at least Gerrard can be the utility player but that if he agrees.

Yep BR has alot to do, hoping everything goes thru well.

yeah, they should feel ashamed of their performances as well instead of blaming BR. it's whole team who let down the fans.

expected finger pointing mainly on 1 person, actually no.. there is 2 person. This will be the topic for whole season until we get positive results, playing nice football, keeping clean sheet, trashing opponent like last season etc etc only will go away.

yea again back to my humble personality while meeting up my friends this weekend :/ expecting kena trashed

Sturridge out of Chelsea clash, now i fear for his career..

QUOTE
"
* SEP 2014: Thigh
* AUG 2014: Hamstring
* APR 2014: Hamstring
* NOV 2013: Ankle Ligaments
* SEP 2013: Hip/Thigh Injury
* MAY 2013: Ankle Ligaments
* FEB 2013: Hamstring
* FEB 2013: Hip/Thigh Injury

Including his pre-LFC career, Sturridge has suffered FOURTEEN injuries since 2011, which is a Daniel Agger-style rate of injury. And it's not just one issue; it's 4 or 5 different problems that keep recurring. It's maddening, and the striker's susceptibility to injury may have a knock-on impact on his future LFC career"

Thought Mig did pretty well for the last few games. The defence was a let down beside some stupid refereeing... Skrtel was caught ball watching for first goal.

Sigh defence but did Liv put up a good fight at least?

What can you do to save Liv's season lol..

QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 9 2014, 04:53 PM)
Only first 10 min or so.
Look promising when match started but quickly faded away.

Then same old disappointed tiki taka in between defender.
You know the same 4-5-1, with Balo lone striker strategy kind of performance.

The team simple has forgotten how to score a proper goal, QPR win (2 own goal + one deflected shot), then goal drought, yesterday, another fluke deflected goal)

If not Johnson 2 crucial block, first half could ended 3-1 already.
Defence is shaky throughout the match, despite Chelsea only played 1 striker.

JM gave a good lesson how to play 4-5-1 with lone striker. How to defend, how to press as a  unit.
*
ack, BR may not last until January transfer.. If FSG willing to fork out more money to save Liverpool's season.

But my hope was to get a draw with Chelsea, knowing Chelsea's season been high flying. Looking at the brighter side, top teams struggled cept for Chelsea but then IF only Liverpool play well this season they could have been the only team fighting with Chelsea.

sigh yet another season they did not take advantage.

We only found out that he is overpaying, lallana was excellent last season for Soton he created chance out of no where. Of coz u cant compared with the S, he was quoted 95mil dropped to 65 because of his ban.

Over paying or not is depending his time here. Give him a few seasons, he made some magic win us a cup.. Hell 25mil for crucial time it is worth it. But yes atm no where can be seen.

New players for me i will give them time, as for BR ok fine he is now coming into 3rd season. He should know he cant rely on new players to shine. He needs to build last season's core players then add on step by step.

How long did you support liverpool!? Didnt we all gave time to liverpool to try win the league? Now only start to complain? Or you actually complain all the time since u started supporting livepool? Funny

Time for ppl to realize the club you supporting is not good enough since 24 years ago.

I am still waiting u can call me pathetic why still support liverpool coz it is my choice

How long I support Liverpool is irrelevant. And just because I started following the club earlier than you it doesn't make me a better fan than you are...and vice versa...

Nobody is against positivity here..but the positivity has to be channelled within plausible limits. Like cherroy said, You can quote books and present me fancy stats to reinforce your point, but what good use is that when the pitch results is showing otherwise?

I don't want to sound mean but 7 out of your last 10 posts is about giving time time time and time, so no offense, I think this time excuse is a bit beaten up and washed out right now.

What's funny is...BR was hailed as a messiah last season when he led the team to 2nd place, and when the team fails this season, we are discouraged to criticize him and instead lay blame on the players. This ain't gonna roll...he's basically living on the chump change from last season's finish...and if he keeps on playing his own tiki taka shit with disregard to players and opposition..it will just hasten his demise.

Top 4 or bust.

I wasnt replying ur post tho, i was replying someone used "pathetic". Just some how it was right after your post. He was indirectly replied my post maybe soi should indirectly do that.

Its been years ive defended the managers, time i have given them justified most of the time, ok cept for Roy. But Roy he wasnt given time also first year asking to win the league, CL etc would be quiet impossible for me.

BR = until end of the season, see where he take us
New players = at least 2-3 seasons to justify the "overpaid price"

Agreed most of what you said but i aint trying to say im a better than anyone is just an example saying that Liv never did win since 24years ago ure not immuned to all this? Im surprised.. This is getting old isnt it? Instead of complaining, why not get behind the club, players, managers, staffs etc.. And again im not trying to brain wash ppl here coz it does not gives me any benefit.

Smile~ heuheuheu

If really BR get sacked, the next carefully choosen one will not have same time frame. Because i will rage.. I mean it, first 6 months must be at least top 6..

Enough is enough after so many years, this is infinite loop!

I think i am slowly getting there tongue.gif

Even if the next carefully choosen one is another mid-table, so called young and full of potential type of manager?  laugh.gif

Because I as a normal fans see, there are no top manager will willing to take over the job, most probably will be another mid table manager. Then there will be another 2-3 years of transition, like you said, infinite loop!  laugh.gif

Ya but we are human! We give everyone a fair chance unless FSG change its policy. Slowly or instant its up to them, fans may not like it to be slow.

For me "enough is enough" already used to it, but maybe next season if we really changed the manager i might be diff tongue.gif

Back to this season, dont care BR likes it or not.. FSG needs to voice out and fork out to save the season. Sell if needed

the fans all said downing sux...and look what hes doing with west ham now in 4th place  whistling.gif

West ham fans give him chance and time, not slaughtered for whatever reason. Honestly he didnt do that bad under KK or BR he was a willing player, he had to play wing back some certain occasion. But he doesnt complain it is not his best position, like Kuyt unlike Sahin.. Just a few games he had to play AM already complain like a girl and didnt he score some crucial goals in that position?
