iPhone 6 sales plateau in the UK, iPhone 6 Plus still going strong

According to information obtained by FoneArena, the iPhone 6 isn't selling as well as the iPhone 6 Plus in the UK. Carphone Warehouse's inventory system has shown more than 20,000 iPhone 6 units idling in the company's storage warehouse.

Carphone Warehouse has bet a bit too high on users swarming its stores to purchase the iPhone 6, but the demand is seemingly not as high as anticipated. However, the iPhone 6 Plus is still selling as fast as Apple can manufacture it. Apple has managed to sort out the limited stock issues that pledged it in the past.

Sadly for the company, there may be another issue at hand - the average UK smartphone buyer isn't as tempted to go for an iPhone anymore. As per the words of an EE UK employee, for every 3 iPhones sold, there are 7 Samsung Galaxy phones purchased.

In spite of the sales slow down in the UK, Apple sold 39.2 million smartphones in the three months ending in September and and doesn't expect to lose the momentum. We'll see how that turns out come the end of the year and the next wave of financial reports.

i replaced my iPhone 5 last time with a new set from digi... but thats within the 2nd week and i brought the whole box set. The staff took mine and replace it with a fully wrap unopened full set too. I saw my friend one getting refurbished set without the actual box. Just aluminium case. And since then i heard Apple changed quite a lot. not sure if still applies to the new iPhones.. but the latest i experienced is, more than 7 days, telcos set or not.. all go to apple service centre.

Well I own the iphone 6. The reality is that you will definitely get a case to protect it anyway, so there was no chance for me to put it down on the table with lens facing down.
Any case at all , will protect the lens from having to touch the screen anyway.

You'll already be too busy with your life, aided by the phone's speed and getting things done fast that you won't care already.

Take for example, I needed to quickly convert a 14 page document into pdf and email someone.  Take photo with jotnot, snapsnapsnap and batch process the 14 pages into document and zoom send off email.

Camera takes picture the milisecond the tip of your finger touches the screen.
