The "iPhone Buying Experience" is highly recommended for at least once in your lifetime if you're an apple user/fan, and by this I don't mean the kind of "sell off my kidneys to buy an iPhone" type of fan but even a more reasonable one. The crowd, the queue, the drama, the arguments, and finally the joy of finally obtaining the device. It's quite an experience.

Given up on the pre-buy coz only can collect at maxis centre KLCC on 12am and I stay in Klang, so I'm not too keen to drive all the way up and join the midnight queue (already had my iPhone buying experience, now old already, no stamina). Also, due to the system glitches and what not, they called me and told me only the 16GB one is still available if I want to be amongst the first batch to get it, so I decided to skip and will buy it at my own sweet time when stocks are more readily available, December or January is fine for me - no hurry. My Note 3 still more than adequate

Am looking at the bombardment of abuse in the maxis iPhone 6 thread because the delivery date has changed from 7 days to 7-14 days. Goodness... this is what we have become...

Which is why I chose to walk in to maxis centers when they have stock and then part with my money after getting the phone, instead of pre-ordering, giving them the money first with no assurance on when it will be delivered.

A little bit of patience required, which unfortunately Malaysians in general lack...

And the other thing is Apple Store tells you "Ship in xxx days/weeks" upfront so you know before you order.
