Out of curiosity, would Apple Malaysia store products be on sale for Black Friday?

Any 16GB owner here remember how much usable space you have out of the box with iOS 8?

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Nov 6 2014, 09:22 PM) As mentioned few pages back, I read an article stating that production ratio for iPhone 6 to iPhone 6 plus is 70:30. They need to also adjust their 16GB and 64GB ratio It would seem Apple may have underestimated the demand for the 6 Plus and that could be the reason for the shortage. I don't know how quickly the production output can be adjusted but I read the ratio will be adjusted to 55:45. |

I'm trying to figure out if I can "discipline" myself for 16GB as I did with iPhone 4, hahaha... When I sold the phone off after 2.5 years I had 2GB space remaining...
But 10GB is really too little This post has been edited by attw: Nov 6 2014, 09:43 PM |

QUOTE(slickz @ Nov 6 2014, 09:50 PM) Just had a brief hands on with the plus. It's certainly bigger than the 6 all right, but it's not as wide as expected. When I was at one Machines outlet earlier people were queuing up... To try demo unit, hahahaI tried to type it one handed and sure enough the flesh on my thumb touches the return key. But amazingly, unlike when I tested on samsung's phone where it registered the touch, it didn't happen this time. I think it's the iOS preventing accidental touches from being recognized as valid input. Tried to verify this but the demo unit battery died. |

After reading all the inputs today on the lag in the 6 Plus, and cross referencing with other users in other online forums, maybe it's good that I hold on to my decision to purchase the phone just yet.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 7 2014, 05:36 PM) My whatsapp has been very good with no issues. I transfer over from my LG phone 2gb of data. Despite some users complain about it being poor I am very happy. I get on average 100 WA messages a day Ok, thanks for clarifying. The worst lag I've ever experience was on my wife's previous Galaxy S3 - it drove me nuts to a point where I almost threw the phone, ha ha....The lag is only very minor n it only pop up once a while. I believe subsequent firmware updates will improve it further. It is not lag till phone is unusable |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 7 2014, 05:52 PM) My previous experience with iPhone 5 worries me, ha ha. The other thing is lately, my Note 3's massive battery is barely getting me through the day now with only 2 hours plus of screen on time.. I know you don't compare iOS to androids but it's still a cause for concern..Actually the more I think about it, the more i feel that iPhone 6 is a better choice given that Apple is new in the phablet category and so the 6 Plus isn't as refined yet. Am pretty sure we'll see slimmer bezels and a more ergonomically friendly 6 Plus eventually - and God forbid, they may even give us 2GB RAM! |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 7 2014, 06:19 PM) I suspect you have a battery drain. Quite common on Androids. The best method would be to backup the phone. Hard reset it and restore the phone but try to restore only really important apps like whataspp, facebook etc. Then try again if its the same battery life. You could also check if you have any wakelocks thats keeping the app running in the background thus eating your battery. Exactly why I wanted to go back to iOS... |
