nice rigs man....smile.gif
why dont u OC abit ur CPU n GC, as long as dont increase d voltage, i think its quite safe to run it 24/7. Stock HSF for ur E6600 should be suffice if u dont plan to kow2 OC it. Mine running 305 x 9 with default voltage 24/7 n using stock HSF aso...max temp when full load aso still low, around 60C. at least w the OC u can get higher FRPs in gaming.

I think the price will be fix till end of the year.Maybe the price will drop a little bit but the chances is a bit low.Wait until the next proc comes out then there will be price adjustment on the conroe core.

If it's the regular P5B..then skip it. It's already discontinued. Wait for the P5B-E to arrive. It should retail about the same price as the old vanila version.

In around November or so, there'll be a new revision for the 965 chipset (C2) and so far it seems that 500+...to even 600 is achievable.

E6300 --> Cheapest possible so that's the value
E6400 --> The 8x multiplier is pretty useful since average 3.2Ghz is not an issue paired with DDR2 800's... 8x400...no problem...no sweat
E6600 --> Entry level 4MB...basically the price premium is for the extra cache/performance.
E6700 --> Tarak paham why need E6700 since the E6600's 9x is more than enough to run 1:1... 9x400 --> 3.6Ghz
X6800 --> Unlocked multi's so there's the value there.

Stick to those ram sticks or chips that's listed on Asus QVL and you shouldn't have a problem.

17" at resolutions of 1280X1024 is good enough for me. I game more than movies, so it should be sufficient. I have my eyes on HDTVs though, but gonna get a house first...
