QUOTE(Ramjade @ Mar 21 2019, 09:34 AM) Trade Station customer service sure reply fast. but it seem like only can trade US ETF?1. They accept Malaysians as customer. 2. Yes, they are whitelabel. 3. Minimal opening account is USD5000 4. No monthly fees if account fall below certain limit. not sure like Ireland domiciled ETF can be traded. QUOTE(chickenessence @ Mar 26 2019, 11:40 PM) Thanks, for all the replies and info. if you check the live market, the buy price you buy from etoro is more expensive than the real live market priceneed to spend some time over the weekend to study the comparison between brokers.. and what suit me best.. Also look at below Etoro demo account on the x1 which is "buying the underlying stock? ![]() and x5 leverage which is CFD with the daily charges. ![]() like ASNA now price is 1.14, but even X1, you buy at 1.15 thou etoro claim you are buying the underlying share, but they sell you 0.01 more expensive mean the moment you buy, you already losing, lol |

Hi guys, wanna ask what is the forex rate/charge
for converting SGD -> USD/EUR in TradeStation/Captrader by buying the currency pair? or it is live rate but only charging based on transaction fee? what is the transaction fee for each buying order? This post has been edited by tadashi987: May 7 2019, 05:02 PM |

QUOTE(roarus @ May 7 2019, 10:42 PM) Here you go if you'd like a bookmarkable step by step guide, just sub USD with EUR if you're doing SGD->EUR and ignore the part about the IWDA: haha just so happened I am planning to invest in IWDA https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/119895805-post5420.html If you don't already have USD, you'll get charged in your base currency (converted from USD2) Special note: Use FXCONV instead of IDEALPRO if you don't want to see a SGDxxx currency virtual position thanks dude for the steps reference btw I researched on justetf found out that IWDA can be purchased through LSE (traded with USD) or Amsterdam listing (traded with EUR) 1) Anyone here know does Ireland-domiciled ETF subjects to Dirt, or exit tax? I read from some online article that Irish-domiciled ETF is liable to Dirt, or exit tax, at a rate of 41 per cent. reference: Don’t invest in an ETF until you understand the tax 2) both IWDA Amsterdam listing and IWDA LSE listing are same subjected to 15% withholding tax? just that traded in different currency? |

Can we straight instarem to fund TradeStation?
as per below, not sure if I am doing it correctly. then third step: instarem to the shown account of CITYBANK as previously enquired the TradeStation CS mentioned that we can only use our own bank with our name to do funding. This post has been edited by tadashi987: May 10 2019, 11:53 AM |

QUOTE(chickenessence @ Jul 21 2019, 08:48 PM) Anyone can comment on the following S&P 500 ETFs? u can go justetf website and checkWhich one would u choose and why? Whats their difference? VUSD:LN Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF CSPX:LN iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF CSP1:LN iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF SXR8:GR iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF VUSD:LN this is distributing policy instead of accumulating, accumulating is usually preferable as dividend is straight reinvested. CSPX:LN CSP1:LN SXR8:GR these are the same ETF, just the different ticker and trade currency, it depends which currency u wanna hedge on i would say? and also might need to take note on the volume and spread size. |

QUOTE(chickenessence @ Jul 21 2019, 11:58 PM) to be honest, i don't quite know how to use justetf. Got myself confused. lets say for, 1) https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/VUSD:LN 2) justetf website: Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF ISIN IE00B3XXRP09, WKN A1JX53 as justetf website doesn't show the same ticker.. "VUSD" Am i looking at the same ETF.. for this VUSD? thanks for the currency notes. u can go into the "listing" tab you can see the same ETF with different ticker name, different trade currency in respective exchange |

QUOTE(-TcT- @ Jul 23 2019, 10:06 AM) if you are talking about foreign ETF,most of the ETF of FSM SG is US domiciled, so you can't run away from 30% dividend tax? That's why we have been discussing on buying irish domiciled ETF, but FSM doesn't has that. |
