I have to agree with this point as I also did the same but with MailBoxes store. They will weigh for me and give me options to use which courier (each has different price depending on weight and destination).Then they will weight for you. Ask nicely or pretend wanted to shipped then cancel.

Done so many times, they never charge.
Though for poslaju, sometimes they use volumetric weight calculation
