Tried the demo. Its fun as hell. Runs okay on an AMD 64 3k 1gig 6600GT at 1024 x 768.

I read many low mid range PCs work fine with it. But mostly are based on the demo version. I sure hope it will stay the same for the full one.

Delayed due to shortage <----- at S/W botique website lmao.

For those who weren't quite sure what the widescreen hoo-hah was about. Here's the screenie comparison from the widescreen gaming forum.

user posted image

Red bars denote the areas a 4:3 monitor would see. The widescreen one is cropped in the middle.

2Kgame's argument is that widescreen's view is the intended view of the game, and they added the extra view for 4:3 was becuz they do not want letterbox on them. *shrug*

anyway they're intending to fix that up where you can change the FOVs from their main page site.
(and giving an Nvidia 8800 to the dude who hacked the game to view proper widescreen modes instead of cropping it up as a reward for his diligence, methinks they want to use his code instead of figuring it out themselves. LOLs)

4:1 generally caters for those who have like 3 monitors along side each other(crazy). Think of it as Monitor Surround Visual 3.0 settings.

There you go.

No rootkit in Bioshock. Just the existance of something hiding within. Even demo versions have that and its irremovable.

My bad. I have to rephrase my statement after proper reading.

Bioshock is not hiding something inside, its a registry value entry that doesn't coincide with Microsoft's RootkitRevealer scans, hence it flagged it as a POTENTIAL case of rootkit presence.

The fact remains that Bioshock does not install a rootkit, much less compromise the system's kernal and open up security holes.

Stoped at Neptune's Bounty woot.

Occasional shock events, ala lights off suddenly, or blinded by a gush of smoke.
