i'm playing at 1440x900 with c2d e6600 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, 256mb x1950pro...everything max running quite nicely. really optimized for mid-range pc. even tom clancy rainbow las vegas which also uses unreal engine cannot max the graphics option for a playable fps.

haha...just got my 22" dell lcd. tried bioshock at max settings but at 1650x1050. still running smoothly.

pls see the above just got my 22" dell lcd and playing at 1650x1050 now:drool: . using powercolor 256mb x1950pro. just bought about 2 weeks ago from a forumer. luckily didn;t get 8600 series since it's really only comparable to a 7600gt in terms of power.

dude, i think u need to put settings to medium. of course it depends on yr resolution. but with yr gc i think u shouldn't go higher than 1280x960.

get the FOV fix from http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/BioShock highly recommended. a proper wide screen view instead of cropped view.
