very excited about this game. Though my laptop might meet the system requirement but i still wanted to make sure it can support the game well.

My laptop is benq s41, C2D 1.8GHz (santa rosa), 2GB DD2 RAM, and 8600M GS graphic. I won't expect a very high res display, 1280x800 is enuff for me or even 1024x768. But wat i want to know is wat's the max setting for my lappy? and is tis game a dx10 game? do i need to install vista to play it?

u need to force it in nvidia control panel. thumbup.gif

urs is almost same as mine, only that mine is a desktop + 86gt. at 1024x768, can expect to play at high settings, but i think need to disable 'high detail shaders' or u will experience random crashes. icon_idea.gif

Not that some of us don't want to buy original.

For my case.. I have already decided to buy original version of this game until I heard about the needs of internet for activation purpose. I don't have an internet connection in my college. So how am I supposed to install it??? Spend RM50 for fuel and toll.. go back home and install it.. and spend another RM50 taking my computer back to college??? That's RM100. Highly unlikely I will do that... yawn.gif

Until there's a workaround for this... I won't be buying this game at all... and if there's still no way around it after so long... pirate is the only way for me. Unless you have another suggestion???

lolz.... it's a great game. Been playing for 2 days but not much time for me to play so now still in 3rd chapter. AI is crazy, their techniques are very funny, like releasing steam then suddenly come out behind u or some switching off the light and gang bang me.... lolz...

Anyway, my laptop gc driver can't be updated since there r no other suitable driver for it. FYI, my 8600M GS play this game at med setting 1024 x768 smooth, high setting is actually not playable but the graphic is awesome...

Thinking of buying it on Monday. Do you think this PC is able to play?
AMD X2 3800+
1 Gig RAM
GeForce 7600GT
Main concern is not the processor itself but RAM and graphic card. Think there is going to be any problem?

How's the online activation anyways? Is it that bad? I heard a lot of people having issues with it.

Ur ram shud be at least 2gb and ur graphic card shud b at least geforce 8 series (recommended 8600GTS or above). Since 8 series is not outdated yet so soon and it able to support dx10 for future enhancement. If u want to play this game in better graphic, 8 series is a must for vista dx10 biggrin.gif

p/s: laptop: Santa Rosa, C2D 1.8GHz (rated at 4.44GHz), 2GB RAM, 8600M GS 256MB GDDR3 is laggy in high quality mode, so u better get a higher spec pc... 7 series...nah... blush.gif
