QUOTE(Eyuna3 @ Apr 13 2015, 01:30 AM) Although it doesnt effect my normal usage, but i still get annoyed by the screen Tomorrow i will try to ask for RMA since one of our member get his perfect IPS screen So i just deal with it to get a new ips screen with a high quality . fyi, the bleed is a thing for any panel not just ips. My screen bleeding shoud be at the same level as yours now. Not sure wanna travel all the way to their shop just to RMA or not. I'm afraid the result would be more or less the same Please update the result of ur screen RMA.

QUOTE(miong93 @ Apr 13 2015, 01:01 PM) It is good to know ILLEGEAR agreed to have a replacement for you guys, but do note the new screen MAY BE BETTER or MAY NOT BE BETTER. So if you agree to have a replacement, please don't complain later on okay ? Just be considerate to ILLEGEAR team also, since they're bearing the cost for you. You can try out other IPS screen, like monitor or laptop. You can more or less see the same thing. (Ignore those 1.2k++ quality monitor) Welcome to Z5 family Still considering the need for replacement, I think I can live with it tho. May be someday I would go for it if I got the chance to visit KL again. Of course cannot complain anymore afterward.

anyone using Illegear professional color calibration? I applied the custom profile after using the original color profile for a week and found the custom profile give me a warmer color tone.
Btw, I got the infamous BSOD within 1st month, while leisurely watching youtube on chrome.

QUOTE(miong93 @ Apr 17 2015, 01:49 PM) The color is warmer, same as mine too. I didn't use their color calibration, I prefer mine better. haha For the BSOD, can you tell us what is your BSOD error code ? ya and IMO i think the original profile looks more accurate than the calibrated profile. Luckily i got the calibration as freebies else would cry I dint take note of the BSOD code btw, restarted straight way.

QUOTE(miong93 @ Apr 21 2015, 08:01 PM) GE62 cooling is very decent. Not like GE60. If you want other choice you can have a look into Y50 (storm88 mentioned the new display is still bad), if you're okay with the display, it is the best bang of buck now. Or Asus G501JW if you got the $ and looking for slim laptop. Cooling wise is still unknown cause no user yet. MSI GE62 is also a good choice, but the price may not be so attractive compared to others. Z5 is also very good, only if OS is not an issue for you. A lot people turn down Z5 because they don't want to buck up for OS P.S: Take note of after sales service, and warranty coverage also I thought the other manufacturer's lappy come with OS because they already add in the OS cost into the price tag? Anyhow one of the reason I go for Illegear because of the option to get a DOS version, I have a retail WIndows key. Btw if we buy Illegear lappy with OS, is the OS OEM or retail version?
