AC is the newest to join A/B/G/N it can transfer much faster per antenna, if you have proper AC router and fibre internet setup. Some said Killer 1202-N has better software for gaming but IMO not much difference. Just opt for the cheaper one. As for the future proof, take the 7260AC.

That depends on user preference bro..i had a desktop too but i want more portability..thats why i getting this..

And for the price its very good gaming beast..much more solid and better looks and better performance than the lenovo y50 and msi and g551jm asus and aw14

And of course cannot compare with desktop la...if u not going out alot and play games at home then of course desktop better..

We just ran a 45 min Furmark burn-in test with Illegear Z5. We've got maximum temperature of 66 degree Celsius on Nvidia GTX 860M with Dual-heatpipe, dual-vent and duat fan cooling system. Impressive isn't it? http://www.illegear.com/products/illegear-z5/

The trend is that laptops are getting thinner and thinner.

According to Intel conference, starting from 2015 all laptop CPU will be soldered on board, so as to GPU. The reason is that GPU MXM slot and CPU PGA adds at least 1 to 1.5cm thickness to the laptop.

That being said, there might be no more MXM GPU and CPU PGA productions, Nvidia GTX970M/980M might be the last cards using MXM GPU slots.

Choosing a laptop depends on laptop GPU/CPU upgradability is not wise decision.

So it's impossible to have a Z5 with custom GPU then?

As i have mentioned, there might be NO MXM GPU starting from 2015, why you still need a laptop with MXM GPU slot? All laptops are not upgradable in future.

Oh no, this one is different. In one of your posts in the the Illegear thread, there was a customer who upgraded his soldered on GPU, which was posted in the illegear thread

To what extent can ILLEGEAR upgrade your laptop? GPU is soldered on board = GPU cannot be upgraded? Wrong! Our customer has just upgraded his Nvidia GTX 765M to GTX 860M on his ILLEGEAR RE-15.

Hi hyperyouth,

This customer upgraded his entire motherboard (Clevo W350STQ -> W350SSQ), that costs him around RM800 to RM900 if not mistaken.
