Anyone watching HKTV "The Menu"? It's so much better than "Young Charioteers" and "Eye in the Sky" produced by TVB.

I believe TVB is more despo to make sure Astro doesn't cut their partnership.

Viewership is dwindling even in HK

My very honest opinion on this TVB - HKTV matter and of course the dodgy politics of licensing. ATV can "pak wu ying" for all I care and those HKers even had running jokes for ATV lel. CableTV is cool, only because of its travelogue... Priscilla Wong And as for the other TV stations that I can't remember of or only watched them on the net..... who cares?!

I've been watching TVB before I was even on this universe... in my ma's tummy. When I was a kid, I used to watch TVB's series at 7pm on TV2, having dinner and watching tv might not be the best way to enjoy your meal but hey it was fun. Not sure what year that I stop (on and off, just put it that way) watching TVB, it was kinda length period, probably from 2005 - 2010 or so. I only start to "watch it" again few years ago, but that also on and off too, and still do. I guess once you grow up, you start to develop this thing called "taste", I only watch interesting shows only: period/historical dramas particularly, sci-fi, detective, yada2

As much as I love TVB and its darlings: Jinny Ng or Sisley Choi (the recent batch) or Lin Xiawei (damn she don't have a Canto name wtf whatever)
I must say: It's high time to end TVB's monopolization!! TVB needs some good bitch slaps, just to get the quality improved. TVB is too pussy to make shows like "The Menu" and "The Election". UK and US all already made those shows! We should embrace the world, have more peaceful dialogues!! And most importantly, PROGRESSIVE!

Btw, anyone has the HKTV series list, like really long list of it?

the HK showbiz (model, tv, cinema, short film, etc.) has very high competition in that little city state country aka culture hub

I realised that recently after further researching. Even some M'sians are working in that industry: Fish Liew 廖子妤, Vivien Yeo, Gin Lee 李幸倪. Took them a while to learn a new language so to speak of. What does it mean? It means HK is a place that demands foreign talents (by talents I do not mean bangla. You get the drift).

On topic:
This series is so damn good. I feel like a better person every time I watch this!
As a reporter you need to report the truth and let the public be the judge, instead of portraying this thing is good or not or choosing side.

aunties yes quite a lot of them still watch TVB, as TVB is at least better than modern mainland China series (those airs in AEC or SHX)

among youngsters pulak, this generation watch very less on TV broadcast

now only realize the lead actress Catherine Chau was a long time keh leh feh in TVB
HKTV really gives alot of chances to those whom had been neglected badly in TVB
