for me, Schurrle still have a huge potential, he and Salah are the only two players that can play very direct type of football, I hope both of them can step up and prove us wrong.

I prefer to keep Schurrle, but he definitely have limited time to prove himself.

put me in the Schurrle camp for now, hopefully he can step up his scoring ability and reduce the rate of losing the ball.

That's the thing, Schurrle is the direct running and pocket type of player. He can appear in the right place at the right time. But he does not track back, his work rate off the ball is not as gud as Oscar or Willian.

Still rmb City's game. Mou sub in Schurrle, Schurrle scored the goal, then when Chelsea conceded, it was Schurrle who did not track back the run of City player, which caused the goal.

Just afraid he'll end up like Mata. Attacking wise gud, but work rate and defending none, causing Mou to sell him.

Yup, Mou prefer players that can help defends. Look at hazard this season, tracking back and look at oscar, totally different player nowdays.

Let me cut to the chase, what kind of RW you guys prefer? Robben type or Ronaldo type?

In case you were wondering what's the difference, both of them having the same function when they play on wing. Cut in and shoot, dribble and all sorts. The only contrast I see in them is the ability of wave off their opponent. Robben too paper to my liking. Ronaldo has the ability to keep his opponent behind him easily. Also, Robben is the kind of player would go down to earn FKs when opponent tackles him.

I just prefer to have a player that able to play both striker role and winger role..that is why I still hoping Schurrle or Slaah can step up.

both can beat offside trap with a good timing runs.

but if not then second will be Robben type and after that Ronaldo type of winger.

Actually we both have the same mindset. I like a striker to go on winger role, that's why I fancy Costa when he's on winger position. He would cut in and tries to shoot or pull attention to him so that he can pass to someone with less attention. Remy is too traditional in terms of the position. We have to check on our backup or splash another amount for that kind of player.

I prefer Ronaldo type. goal scoring winger. Like Pool's Luis Garcia lo. playing on the wing, but does not work like a winger, he can play in all trident position and get in right place and right time to score. a 20 goal winger would b superb.

Im with on this one. But a winger who scores regularly is very rare

I hope we don't nid to buy sum1. Piazon is gud enuff to be developed into this type of winger. Hope he does come thru the rank and be in our starting 11.

I think Loic Remy can play on Right Wing. it's his 2ndary position iinm.

I think of Lavezzi when u said this.. but he is on the left, but he has the speed and work rate..

but for RW we have Atsu, his perfomance was quite impressing at WC.. Left footed, plays on right, can dribble and have the speed..
Too bad he didnt get much chance at Everton now..

Schurrle rumours leaving chelsea gaining momentum right now. If we want to sell him i hope we already got good replacement.

We have plenty of replacement in midfield. If Schurrle really leaving on January, Willian or Salah can step up. It is consider adequate backup considering our squad depth. But I would really want to see some youngsters getting promote into first team.

But I can't see Schurrle leaving us yet. End of season, maybe.

He did poorly as winger cost him greately last season loan lossing his starting place.
