I had been using Wannam rom past 6 hours and must say is very stable. I had yet faced any issues with it. I had even tweak some phone settings stuffs with Wannam Xposed. Good rom for those who need further tweaks on their phone.

QUOTE(arslow @ Oct 31 2014, 09:15 PM) mine usually 6.5 by 15 % or so. btw wanna ask, whenu say ur phone is 41 degrees, what app are u using to see that? Bcoz its perfectly normal for the CPU to be 41 degrees at idle. The batt temp would be about 33 degrees or less at idle. I think uncle benny is talking about his batt temp and not the cpu temp.... Correct : is battery temperature

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Oct 31 2014, 09:29 PM) And anyone try to change Dalvik to ART? How it is performing? Because my phone really damn hot after changing to ART, even the metal body like it is burning. And during the transition, I put on my bed and under it was so hot. Even on idle. I'm afraid something bad will happen to my phone. So I change back to Dalvik. Is ART stable? ART is not stable. I don't even want to try it What is so hot ? What battery temperature are you recording I don't know how familiar you are with high spec smartphone : hot means 50 degree C n above. Normal usage 36-40 degree is common Your description of hotness is frightening The phone can easily sustain temperature up to 60 degree C but I had yet to hear such temperature recorded. QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Oct 31 2014, 10:08 PM) The phone is so hot like burning. This problem happens when I change to ART. The problem dissapears when changing back to Dalvik. The hotness I experience using Dalvik is when the weather is hot. The phone easily get hot even even it is idle. Phone idling temperature should be around 28-32 degree C. Is only hot when using GPS n phone being charged at same time 40-45 degree C Can you monitor your temp instead saying very hot If is so seriously hot I suggest you send in service center to check

joytest : More than 2 days already I had disabled the IndexService file . Had not seen any problems/issues with it disabled. I could still access all my PDF files easily ( about 400 MB) Had also never seen this app appearing as any wakelocks or in app sucker list with GSam battery Monitor app

QUOTE(Meepomop @ Nov 2 2014, 09:28 PM) sup guys i recently bought a note 4 at harvey norman and got a free note 4 s-view cover. but the cover is not like what i saw online. the cover is flat like the previous cover for the note 3. the new version should be cushioned a bit. is my cover fake or what? There are 2 versions of the S View cover . One is flat surface while the other is with indents on the surface Most fake S View covers you can only view the window details and you cannot interact directly with screen through the window

QUOTE(sharp56 @ Nov 2 2014, 11:40 PM) Thanks for the answer. I have just disabled it and hope it doesn't have effect on other apps. It won't affect the phone. I disabled that plus many other Samsung stuffs ( including its TW launchers) - all app or widgets I never wish to use SPen functionality still remains with Nova Launcher

QUOTE(sharp56 @ Nov 3 2014, 10:05 AM) Mind sharing what stock apps are safe to disable and what 3rd party apps are better replacement? Roughly how much % battery saving effect does it has on your GN4 by disabling these stock apps? You can disable any app you don't wish to use. Only core app even if you want to disable system will disallow. It is generally safe to disable if system allows it The thought of phone being unsafe never ever occur to me. I had been doing such in all my Androids for past 7 years already Just try it yourself If you need more features to disable stuff root phone n used titanium backup to do it Disabling app will not allow it in background I cannot tell you how much battery savings you will have. I disabled such stuffs to have a better smoother experience n not so much for battery savings . And I simply hate to see those app which I never wish to use in my app drawers list

QUOTE(kwiklee @ Nov 3 2014, 11:00 AM) Do you normally greenify your browser ? I find that it's my most used app but then at the same time it's kept in the background whenever I want to use it. Do you think I should put it into my white list in greenify ? I never greenify my most commonly used app. For browser I use only boat n other browser such as chrome, default browser n dolphin I hibernate them

QUOTE(sharp56 @ Nov 3 2014, 11:30 AM) Thanks for the enlightenment. If I could disable an unwanted stock app in the phone's application manager then I would not need to root my phone and pay for titanium backup to disable it unless I want to save some space in the phone's real estate by removing the program, isn't it? Is there any difference? TB allows you to disable most app unlike stock TW in app setting is very limited You can try n find out yourself

QUOTE(alcy929 @ Nov 3 2014, 08:37 PM) Is stock rom ...but Im flashing other country stock rom...is that why i cant get network? You can try this trick from this website. No idea whether it will work for Note 4 Remember always do a EFS -IMEI backup first next time and make a nandroid backup with CWM recovery before flashing any rom in future http://www.droidviews.com/backup-and-resto...s-without-root/
