Guys,

I would need to install 2 new Air-cond.
Will go with Panasonic.

1. The Living Room (129.6 SQ FT + 201.6 SQ FT = 331.2 SQ FT)

So I done some calculation and some discussion.
Taken that this area need minimum of 2.5HP as there is open space at dining area.
I have a another 1HP already installed at dining area but wont be using that unless too many people at one time.
Will utilized the non-inverter model.

2. The Master Room (301 SQ FT)

Calculated to be 2HP.
Going for inverter at first.
Now looking back to non-inverter as the ROI could be too long.
The installation fees and the maintainent is a bit higher.
Do comment if you have otherwise experience.

This is what I'm done in the pass for my current rented apartment.
A Panasonic non-inverter 2HP for my master room.
Operated from 8/9pm to 6am everyday.
Set at 25C or 24C.
A fan is also utilized.
Total house electric bill is RM50++.

The same philosophy will be utilized for my new house, 24/25C operation with fan.
I like the cooling breeze not cold room.

Also, a quote that I get without installation (installation by main contractor):
Panasonic 2HP Inverter RM2600
Panasonic 2HP Non-inverter RM2200
Panasonic 2.5HP Non-inverter RM2500

Please take a look and have some review if found any error in my planning.

Thanks.

You don't have a place to hide it? Both place spoil your house look.

The A/C place have been deallocated as the master bath extended to the side into the said A/C place.

If your house, floor area not too long, then just try to place at back yard area.
*
Long.
Another batch of Outdoor unit for rear side is place at another place at back of the house.

Anyway, come up with the following design.
Unless somebody with good design skill or architect can advice me, I guess I stuck with this.
Well, this not that bad.

Your wooden door is below, after the water drop on the floor can made the floor become wet or fall down.

Actually you can consider place on balcony floor and stick on wall side at left corner.

Most of time you not step to the left corner of balcony wall area, that is better area for u to decided.

Valid point.
Measured and it is 1.5m to the nearest horizontal.
Low possibility.
Will assume negligible.
Plus it is a small garden below the AC.
But I do need to redo the evaporate water pipe, hidden in the side wall.

Don't forget 2 compressor place at same place, would be more water drip on floor.

Due to wooden door just at below the condenser location.
So not that good idea.

Not just below the location.

Thanks here is what I wanna tried to tell you smile.gif

The compressor is not at same wall with the door wall.
The compressor is situated at level 2 wall, 1.5m infront of ground level door wall.
My previous images should illustrate this.
Below the compressor, situated a small garden/soil area.
Also, there should be a discharge pipe for the condense water rerouting the discharge to the ground.
A small portion of condense water which fly out from the compressor not via the discharge pipe is considering negligible base on my current panasonic model.
