ITEM STOLEN ON 17TH MARCH 2008

On 17 March 2008, Skynet Penang pickup man has lost my parcel which contained :-

Skynet Penang are not helpful. They knew their pickup guy steal my parcel and not planning to investigate and maintain a long-term business partnership.

If possible, guys please boycott Skynet and Airpak courier service. Not reliable and not helpful nor friendly.

yes,i agree.Skynet is lousy.Bad customer service.I prefer pos laju over them.

HOW: MY LAPTOP BAG WAS STOLEN FROM MY CAR (BROKE THE SIDE WINDOW)

I've ady banned skynet long time ago..
ESPECIALLY SKYNET KAJANG! Customer service not helpful at all. Lots of excuses when they cannot deliver..(raining is one of the excuses!).. WTF?!!

Item i ordered thru lelong mostly reach me after 2 d@mn weeks!
Not once, but ALL THE TIMES! Really donno why some sellers still prefer to use thier service.. sigh.. its the buyer who will bear the pain if the items dont reach em in time.

KL so dangerous la nowadays. Pavilion to KLCC is a major tourist area some more.

Hey guys,one thing. DO NOT EVER put your bag in your car exposing to others.do not put it on the back seat of the car,in the front seat or anywhere.

If possible put em in the booth or take it with you....

chances of these stolen items being recovered is very very slim.One should be careful.

sorry for the misfortune , do inform dell on the incidence and provide them your service tag# & express service code#

but i lost those also... =.=
i will try to get it from the shop i buy from.... hope they can help me....

btw, how do i inform dell.. i cant find a section under lost laptops but i did inform them by sending them a email to customer service...

Story line;
Thief broke in the victim house located just behind my rumah sewa..
It hapen during no one at the girls house, where the go class/work..
the thief easily open the grill using skru driver..
(next time pls lock also padlock)
2 laptop were missing..one of it is the V3760TU..
but thank god no one was harm during this incident..

yup..my house at shah alam was also been broke once..that time using solex type padlock..not only my house but other houses in that area which using solex padlock have faced the same problem...

so my advise use the normal type padlock..the normal "gold" colour type "Mangga"...

advice to any notebook owners.
if u always carry ur notebook aroun with u,

NEVER LEAVE THE NOTEBOOK AWAY FROM ARM'S REACH

definitely not in the car, or ur class, or office, or even just for half a minute in the loo with the safety cord attached. nor leave it to ur fren to watch out for a bit.
it won't be safe on its own. Period.
Even if u leave it at ur home, always hide it out of sight. or at least attach it to a safety cord AND away from any openings to the outside (door, windows, any holes at all that can fit ur notebook)

oh yeah, also
MAKE BACK-UPS OF IMPORTANT FILES

recounts of my family's & others' experiences:

just moved to a new home.
went out to for less than 2 hours pray.
come back,
& found the window was peeled off
phones & pc were missing
even the money in my pants pocket were lost...
grilled up the whole house within the week
& never left home unattended (even on big festivities, dun dare to go back kampung...)

my dad once had his notebook stolen when he left it in his car for less than a few minutes.
UNLOCKED. (my dad's too trusting of a guy sumtimes...)
never heard/see/think(?) about it since.
(I was the one crying. my final year project proposal, assignments, downloads, etc all were in there~! and most of em have no back ups for gods sake!!)

my iranian fren was going for his friday prayers.
left the notebook under the passanger seat.
wadaya know.
he comes back an hour later.
found his window busted
& his notebook missing.
has to redo most of his thesis studies (which was almost done) AGAIN.

my fren's fren left the notebook on the in the dorm room.
came back from class
the door was unlocked
& the notebook was missing
was never found since.
(repeat 4x. alternate:window broken, lock busted)


all are tragic stories, but this is what happens every day

conclusion: either u BE EXTRA CREFUL or dun own a notebook at all.


PS: i stil hope i can find back my dad's dear lappy, but its near to impossible and i've accepted that...

someone broke into my house on 21st July 2008.

my red dell inspiron, 2.2GHz dual core, 3GB Ram, 220GB of hardisk (if I'm not mistaken), got nvdia graphic processor was stolen.

my dad's watches, worth almost RM7k also was stolen.

it happened between 4-5pm, during heavy downfall.

nobody at home that time (thank God).

my mum just went out 2-3 hours when it happened.

next time, don't want to own a laptop, unless the company I work will provide it (hehe).

if you guys have the chance to catch these thieves, don't forget to beat them before you handed them to the police (don't until that theives die lor).

took his/her pictures and paste them in your neighbourhood.

f**k them all !

my dad already reported it to the police, and guest what, they don't do anything, just interview us (no tracing for fingerprints and didn't patrol around my neighbourhood after the incident).

as usual, the Wakil Rakyat (Cempaka, Pandan Parliement) don't do anything as these cases become worse from time to time.

Would like to help a friend of mine who lost her laptop.
She just bought the laptop for few weeks.
Too bad someone broke into her house and stole it.
