about the batt, let see for tomorrow, still charging at 15% from 10pm after done installing

overall, the performance cant tell the difference, feel like same
just the interface,
1) the notification slider need to swipe down twice to go setting menu instead using tab menu
and the brightness can set in realtime at this menu.
2) standby screen got notification (i disable it..dont like )
3)the icon got bigger lol
4) multiple user account (i found this quite useless unless use tab)
5) new interface style for phone & sms (got float button for compose/dialing)

camera:
1) overall i feel same, just the picture quality with a lot noises/loss of details than previous.
dunno if my lense got dust, will try again tomorrow with bright area.

2) got burst with long press (i forgot previous already got or not)
3) touch block (disable screen touch, good for underwater shooting )

well, thats all i can see the diff. for now
waiting for others feedback

How did you get it? I have tried by using PC Companion but nothing happen. Malaysia seems don't have any update avaiable yet

But Im a bit confused as the Sony Malaysia website says the Xperia Z1 is now Lollipop

any update on battery performance?
i suspect my battery is damaged, can see my phone bulging/kembang already

i've been experiencing the same - battery level at high % then suddenly shutdown

anyone know where can i get it replaced?

Just go to Sony Service Center to replace it. Sony Service Center is at Berjaya Times Square.

so how was the pre rooted version? ok?

it's gonna costly right getting it done at their service center
thinking if i should just get it replaced outside (asked around n was quoted 120-130)

Ericserve at AmCorp Mall can do the replacement too.

Sure it will be very costly but you may make a call to ask them the replacement cost first. If you want to get it done outside, please ensure your phone is still water proof

so far no prob....existing apps not wipe...

my battery already bulging, so as of now it is no longer waterproof i suspect

maybe its being distributed..i dont know
just i read here then cucuk my phone, got update

your phone became buldge already
better safer than a sorry, go replase asap

anyway from morning till now, my batt got 40%+- remaining
which i can say quite hunger if compared my early one year use this new phone
but then dont benchmark my phone
it might the battery problem already.

aaaaaannnd,

below 30% my phone will shutdown itself

You mean that apps can now be moved to SD?

haha... i think most of us who bought this phone during launch are more or less having battery problem already. now that u mentioned, i also suspect the back of my phone abit bulging...

^wow, mine also same nowadays. when reach 30% or so, suddenly shutdown or down to very low batt <10%.

funny thing is there was twice i reboot to recovery then reboot normal. The batt level returns to 70+%..

but I guess something really wrong with the battery already.

did u get ur phone during the launch period too (approx Sept-Oct'13) ?
from what we are experiencing here, the battery lifespan is around 1.5 years only (normal use, overnight charging etc)
