QUOTE(mamamia @ Jan 27 2015, 09:31 PM) Rm63 look reasonable for 1st month billing. Wat u mean by pay more? Mean u've pay 150+78 when u sign up the iphone plan? Yes, because I am with maxis before I signing with Celcom. So the fella told me if want to take the phone right away I have to pay a deposit of RM 150 MNP service charges. I also quite curious why they still ask for RM 78 upfront payment. None of this stated in the Celcom website.

QUOTE(don_kass @ Jan 28 2015, 09:16 AM) hi guys. plan to grab iphone 6 64G under celcom. How much i need to pay for the upfront payment? The payment upon registration is the price you need to pay. If you haven't porting out to Celcom and you wanted to grab iPhone on the spot, they might charge you additional RM 150 for MNP service charges and RM 78 upfront payment. Both of them will be reflected back to your bill as your advance deposits which will be credited back afterwards. I waiting this to be verified as the staff told me I have to wait my bill, so I am still waiting. And you might need to pay extra for their daylight robbing, as they insist selling you the iPhone in bundle (to buy a case and screen protector), so they can earn more.

QUOTE(kenlui @ Jan 28 2015, 05:54 PM) I believe the RM150 is not MNP charges but rather 10 months advance payment of RM15. I paid the same amount too and has been with celcom for 3 years plus. Don't think any telco will charge for MNP. It is not the advance payment. In the package mine was 2 years contract with RM 25 x 10 months. This RM 150 is additional deposit I paid which is not stated in their website. According to the staff, they said they will reflect it to my bill. Well, let's see.

QUOTE(mamamia @ Jan 28 2015, 07:03 PM) Rm150 is advance payment which will rebate over 10 months. I MNP from umobile n I paid that n currently receiving the rm15 rebate every month So that mean we're like need to pay the bill every months calculated this way if we didn't exceed the 266 units (for RM 78 plan 2 years case), because RM 78 - RM 25 (adv payment) - RM 24 (rebate) - RM 15 (MNP)= RM 14. Top up with RM 78 upfront. Am I correct?

QUOTE(kenlui @ Jan 28 2015, 11:43 PM) Oh okay so yours is the RM250 upfront payment, but like mamamia mentioned, looks like u've paid RM150 extra which is the advance payment amount for 1 year contract users. Should be RM25 rebate for 10 months no? Yes RM 25 x 10months is my advance payment. However, the day I take my phone I haven't porting out from Maxis, so they said if any customer want to take the phone they will give them, will not reserve for me. So I have to pay the extra RM150 deposit for that. I received Celcom sms yesterday that Celcom received my payment of RM 78 and RM 150. Let's see how it reflected on the bill then.

QUOTE(mamamia @ Jan 28 2015, 10:08 PM) For 2 years plan. U Shd just pay 250 advance payment n rebate over 10 months. Sound like u've paid RM250 + RM150. Also, there is no such thing called MNP charges. If they charge U this charges. U can just bring to nearest celcom centre to ask them clarify. Also, u Shd receive rebate of RM35 every month for 10 months as iphone 6plus device discount rebate. There r 6% service tax for their charges. N u need to pay stamp duty as well for 1st month. Btw may I know how they stated the advance payment rebate in the bill? Because I got one overdue charges of -RM250.00, I scare this is my advance payment rebate that they already potong at the beginning. lol

QUOTE(WA300 @ Feb 8 2015, 05:49 PM) I just signed up iPhone 98 plan yesterday morning (previously i was taking celcom 68 plan) and till now i checked my online CS of Celcom for data consumption info, it still shows 0. Would like to ask how long it takes for the data 3GB + 1GB to be activated? It's been more than one day already... Thanks! Mine is over a month now, and whenever I check via 22188, it still show me the full data allocation to me without any reduction.

QUOTE(Jing-leBelle @ Feb 8 2015, 07:49 PM) Guys, is it normal that a potential buyer requested IMEI number of my phone? What is the purpose of it? To check your unit is original or not?

QUOTE(WA300 @ Feb 10 2015, 08:03 AM) Thanks for the info. Yesterday I checked via sms to 22188 and it's already activated and my data allocation started to reduce. How bout the free 1Gb quota allocation? How should we check?
