I have a trollmage deck to play against the patron warriors.

Deck List:
Mana wyrm x2
Mad Scientist x2
Frost Bolt x2
Kirin Tor Mage x2
Kezan Mystic x1 (to steal explosive trap when facing hunter)
Water Elemental x2
Counterspell x2
Duplicate x2
Mirror Entity x2
Ice Block x1
Fireball x2
Flamestrike x1
Kel'Thuzad x1
Loot Hoarder x2
Polymorph x2
Arcane Intellect x2
Leper Gnome x2

Once I managed to mirror entity + duplicate armorsmith. Ended up winning with 30health + 20armor, lmao.

Wait, I think I only had 1 polymorph. Replaced with ethereal arcanist. And 1 loot hoarder replaced with echo of medivh.

Btw, don't expect to win too much with this deck lol. I think I had 50% win rate against patron warrior with this.

Try to mulligan for mad scientist, kirin tor mage or loot hoarder.

sorry if this sounds absurd but the fact that you manage to keep 50% winrate is quite a good thing, isn't it?
maybe you can try increasing your pace, for example when cw put turn 2 armorsmith, turn 3 aco, just concede, and go for the next game. face hunter is so popular because of its tremendous speed and efficiency i.e. you can predict what will will happen in 2-3 turns. though, I expect more midrange hunter in your statistics, lack of this deck is direct reason you still stuck in ranks.

rank 8 is decent tbh, imo begin of season better use anti aggro deck such as priest, I don't play priest and suffer a lot thru begin of season though .. lol. first week after they will play more control in rank 15 or so..

me too farmin gold for goblin packs ... had most cards but d/e them for legendaries and now regret :/ as for ladder i'm satisfied already, although not legend but close

You better do it now, next month expansion the ladder will be full with new card and new meta.

Go for it. Totally possible. I hit legend from rank 20 in one day. It was like 14 continuous hours when season was about to end.

not trying to burst ur bubble but u do know that there wont be any more win streak bonus once u hit rank 5, rite? that being said, it is still possible to get legend in a day provided u get very lucky, like getting the perfect match ups, perfect starting hands, perfect rng, perfect rolls, etc... but hey, it's hearthstone lol... as most pros will tell u, getting to rank 5 is only half the battle. Grinding that 25 wins can mean playing at least another 100+ games. thats how i got my golden warlock and mage portrait lol.... anyhow, i wish u gd luck and may rngesus be with u.

The highest ranked I got was 13. Can't get any further.

Like yesterday, playing against hunter, manage to get his/her life down to 7 while I'm at 4 when I attacked using my 1 4/4 minion + 1 3/5 minion with taunt. I didn't bother killing his minion 2 1/1 minion since I have minion with taunt and he has no card at hand so I get straight to the face. For some random luck he manage to get a silence owl on the draw and silence my taunt minion, allowing his 2 1/1 minion to attack + hero power. Boom, I lost the match.
