yea, i saw the amazon coin promotion thing. but its abit of a hassle, got register with a US address or something. i am tempted as well. but thinking if it will be well worth the purchase. 

pls don't tell me we can somehow bypass the amazon verification and buy coins for hearthstone... i will die from sadness after thinking how much i've spent and might have save...

If you haven't already, DON'T pre-order the new packs until Challengestone 3 (Aug 1) happens! You'll get more packs if you wait.

Amazon has run a 30% coin bonus on Heartstone packs for every Challengestone so far. I anticipate that they'll do the same thing. You get MUCH more packs by buying through the amazon app store than you do through the blizzard store.
Go buy $50 worth of amazon coins. They're 10% off, so it will cost you $45 for them (so you're $5 ahead already).
Wait until Challengestone 3 and the 30% coins back bonus. Once that's live (http://www.amazon.com/b?node=10558189011), go buy the 50 pack (by running hearthstone through the amazon app store) and you'll get $15 worth of coins credited back to your account. Then go buy a few more packs. You'll end up with about 65 packs for $45.
Even if Amazon doesn't do a 30% back bonus on the pre-order, they're already doing a 20% back. So there's no reason to pre-order these packs from any other source....unless you like paying more for less!

errr, no idea whats with the challengestone thing. but i got this off reddit.
by recently released you mean the past GvG, blackrock etc? or do you mean the "leaked news" about those new cards coming out? apparently quite alot of em are untrue? no idea what to expect from the upcoming decks.

Most revealed cards till now are not that impressive or a must have ....

i pre-ordered. here's my thought on it: initially i was thinking about spending 5k gold to buy 50 packs. that's 250 cards. with that amount of cards, i'd probably get most of the commons and rares, heck if im lucky 3-5 legendaries. but given the nature of the game, u'd definitely be missing some key staple cards which are legendaries and epics, and thus, have to craft them with excess dust(i only have 1k dust left now). so 50 packs may not be enough, and i may have to buy more packs from the shop afterwardsand hope to get the missing cards or more dust from repeated cards. that said, it's better to buy now with the promotion rather than paying the same price for less later.
