I've tried to hook up my Panasonic CX600 LED TV to sound bar using HDMI ARC ports on both sides. Sound bar can recognize the TV but the sound is still coming out from Tv speaker. How do I toggle speaker output so that it's output via sound bar?

I can turn off TV speaker now from the Menu settings. Now I have 2 problems:

1. Whenever I turn off TV box or TV, sound bar is still on and doesn't go to standby. I've checked the sound bar settings page and have set standby settings to auto. Any idea why sound bar cannot be on standby or turn off?

2. Whenever I play YouTube on my smart tv, the sound comes out from my tv speaker and none from my sound bar. But for my tvbox, sound comes out from sound bar instead of tv speaker.

Any idea how to some these 2 issues?

Managed to solve both issues by simply change the sound origins in tv from TV sound profile to Home Cinema sound profile

Oh I’m looking for a 55in 4K. Can recommend which pana model? I went to their site. Actually what’s the difference between them?

I’m considering Sony and LG as well if you got any recommendations for those

Buying a 4K TV when you have the following needs :

* watch Ultra HD contents (disc, online, streaming etc)

* 4K console gaming

* watching recorded 4K video from smartphone or cam coder

* have extra $$$

Else just buy a decent bigger FULL HD TV.

Panasonic has few 55" models in 4K 2017 line up.

Buy the most suit your eye friendly and budget TV. Very subjective to recommend.

Since this is a Panasonic threat. Of course support Panasonic cool2.gif tongue.gif

Hi, anyone here is using Panasonic TH-43E410K?

Wanna buy this model. Is this product PQ and SQ good?
First time to buy Panasonic.
Anyone here is using it? Care to give reviews about it?

I have another model in mind which is LG 43LJ510T
Went to Harvey Norman yesterday. Looking at the Panasonic model and sales man told us that LG PQ is better and got 2 years warranty.
Normally other TV brands have 1 year warranty.

Now got black Friday promotion
Original price --> RM 1,899
Sales price --> RM 1,600

Harvey Norman having sales now.

Update: Bought Panasonic model from Ban Hin Bee as they are having pre-renovation sales.

Price: RM1,450

My Pana TV is acting up. Sometimes when I turned off the power supply from the power outlet, and turn it back on, there is no power. Sometimes there will be power...

Anyone encountered this? Is this a power supply issue?
