QUOTE(bosouman @ Oct 27 2014, 10:29 PM) i was thinking.. why note 4 in malaysia, not Snapdragon ? Don't regret if get snapdragon. I keep seeing people complain on games lagging at XDA and all using snapdragon. No issue in Exynos so far. Pretty smooth. if i bring set from other country. scary warranty ba. |

Finally i have chance to try both Malaysia (Exynos) and SG (Snapdragon) versions.
Overall, both perform very well. However i found Exynos version is smoother and faster than Snapdragon. For Snapdragon, i can feel a bit delay when press home button or press photo gallery in camera app. First i thought it may be due to the lag demo unit, but i found the same feeling when i try other 2 units in different shop. |

Reading XDA forum on SD vs Exynos..it seems that some users praised SD while others disliked Exynos and vice versa...i say is all down to personal preferences..sometimes the issues u r experiencing might be nothing but subconscious manifestation because you already have predisposition to disliked the chip.. well..thats my opinion anyway.. cheers

QUOTE(thelightside @ Oct 27 2014, 10:49 PM) Ok guys now im confuse using back the ori note4 cable does indeed speed the charging speed back to normal meaning fast so now I guess its the cable but both are from samsung just the other one I bought is ori samsung cigarette ligther charging cable using that is damn slow but ori cable is fast so now I have to buy note4 ori cable which is so damn expensive Cables can actually degrade. Sometimes they degrade within 6 months, whatever the brand.Just buy a good cheap cable. Seller brotan used to sell you can check with him. He uses GCC to test the cables before selling. |

QUOTE(ahtom82 @ Oct 27 2014, 10:07 PM) anyone knows where i can set the default install memory to sd card? i can't find it in the settings... Kitkat doesn't allow install of app onto ext sdcard. Some very old apps however can still be installed onto ext sdcardSome phones some Lenovo, most newer Huawei has overwritten Google restriction n allow ext sdcard as default internal memory but a small core portion of the app still goes into internal memory I am not having the Note4 with me now ( out for breakfast) but you can check settings /app n see whether the app you wish to move over has such option to force move to ext sdcard. I could do that on my previous Oppo Find 7. I needed to do that on Find7 as it restricts only 3gb out of its 32gb for app install The Note4 has full 32gb access to install app. It is definitely enough for most users. Unless you install a lot of games whose data goes into internal memory than 32gb or even 64gb will be insufficient. There are ways to move games data to ext sdcard - just Google for solutions but I believe all such actions need root This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 28 2014, 07:18 AM |

I've been using note 3 and now note 4 and I carry with me lots of Udemy on line courses. 32gig is simply not sufficient. I hope they will let us to install/use SD in lollipop..
