Hi, I am currently facing an issue in disposing my terrace house. I bought a terrace house from the first purchaser 20 years back and the first purchaser had extended his kitchen (appx. 8x4 ft) and he didn't apply for the extension from the authorities. As of now, I am going to sell the said house and already signed the offer letter with the intended purchaser and received 2% front payment. But the issue now is the purchaser wants me to apply from the authorities. So my questions are: a)Can I know the approximate cost required for the approval? b)Is there any fine as it has been for 20yrs+? c)How if I chose to demolish it? Can the purchaser take any legal action on me? Much appreciate for your reply

If the purchaser doesn't want to go ahead you forfeit the 2%. ya, it is nt prescribed in the offer letter. just this purchaser himself request a lot of things after the offer letter was signed.
