Hmm, after do some research, i noticed, between ipad mini 3 vs ipad mini 2 not so much different >.< hmm, which one should i choose

mini 3 is just mini 2 with touch ID and a gold option. Since the price of mini 3 is the same as the original price of the mini 2, I'd say go for the mini 3. But if you don't mind not having the touch ID for Apple pay and other touch id features, go for the mini 2 since its cheaper

Most of the buyers shop in websites such as Forum lowyat, lelong and mudah which involves COD and Banking in because the seller are not registered to do business.
No Malaysians in their right mind will shop in official online stores except for apple and xiaomi which xiaomi doesnt even have an app to implement the Apple Pay's API. Apple's online store app does, but how often do you purchase a new device?
Basically, I believe most of us here only use it for unlocking their device and installing paid apps, thats about it. Enough said, iPad Mini 2 is still a wiser choice since it has the same specs.

You can use apple pay on pretty much any websites that requires you to use credit card to purchase. I know quite a lot of people who buys clothes and gadgets online. They can use apple pay for that. And lets be honest. How many of us actually upgrade our iPads every year? I'm still using iPad 4 and I'm not planning to upgrade it as much as I want to upgrade my iPhone. Hence, if you think you don't need a touch ID on your iPad mini for the next few years when apple pay is maybe as relevant in malaysia as it is in the USA atm, then be my guest. Save yourself a few hundreds for the mini 2.

Look at the mini 3 as mini 2 + touch ID. same price as the mini 2 before the release of mini 3 but with touch ID and an added gold option.

The API is implemented for websites as well? (Safari only of course)
Well, I stand my point here, I would choose iPad Air 2 than iPad Mini 3 any day because I could actually see an hardware improvement.

its like the keychain access in OS X. instead of filling up your credit card details you can access your passbook and validate it with touch ID. yea definitely Air 2 instead of mini 3. I'm saying that i'd choose the mini 3 instead of the mini 2 just coz of the added feature

You have a strong point here..that why i'm still confuse to get ipad mini 3 or ipad mini 2, since i don't even care about that "Apple Pay"..my focus is on ipad mini for portable purpose

I'm just noticed, the processor use at iPad Mini 3 is same at iPad mini 2 LoL..so the major change in ipad mini 3 is just the fingerprint..Omg...better go ipad mini 2, save more money LoL
