Hi all, new MBB2Cards user here. I was wondering how to waive the gov tax. I heard you can swap 3x within 60 days to waive it off. Is that true?

Is AMEX usable in SHELL Petrol Station? I saw there is a new AMEX card launching for Shell.

I have called the CS & was told should follow the recorded time in their system which don't even show the seconds just like in the SMS Alert. Wonder they treat all transaction done in the same minute equally, like 10:00:00 & 10:00:59? Otherwise online transactions would have the advantage.

unlike you, i'm not worried about the 90 minutes presentation, but i'm just not interested with these complimentary overseas stays. they just cover your stay but it's so troublesome to plan for the whole trip and pay for all the other costs (flight, meals, etc.)... unless i already have a plan to go there.

I am not familiar with CIMB's zing card but I can tell you a bit on MBB's Zing Card.

You can apply for the Zing card without applying for a new card, just have the Zing card linked to your AMEX CC. As it is linked to your AMEX CC, each ringgit spent reloading ( RM100 each time the credit goes under RM50) with entitle you to 5 x treat points. If the transaction goes through during the weekends, you are also entitle to 5% cashback. Every reload will have a service charge of RM2, so the transaction will be RM102 each time it reloads.
Yeah, Friday Midnight and Saturday only so far. Even Sunday morning also come up on Mondays

Zing = auto-reload, linked to credit/charrge cards. manual reload not allowed.
Plusmiles TNG or normal TNG = manual reload only.

Plusmiles is a co-branded TNG card that gives rebates/rewards for usage at PLUS highways. it's essentially a normal TNG.

of course, hence plusmiles is a loyalty program card.  my avg Plus toll spending only RM60/mth, cannot even hit the RM100 threshold 

Zing is too restricted, IMO. if they allow manual reload, then it's a good card with added security to auto-reload (in case i'm busy, forgotten, etc)

Dear all, Just now my friend told me the weekend petrol rebate is on friday and saturday. Im in Kedah ( our weekend is friday and saturday, FYI ) so isit true?? She told me is the Maybank customer service who told her that.
