Quick question. How do I use the treatpoints for waiving annual service tax? Can provide link or give some guide to me?
*
Just call the CS and they will do for you.
However if the due date is coming up soon, suggest you to make the payment first to avoid any late payment charges. They can still credit back the money to you.

Hi, i received my first statement ...but it didnt stated any cash rebate on that? eventhough i spend some money on weekend using AMEX

is that rebate is on next calender or deduct on this month?
*
Whatever rebate will be reflected in the following month's 1st or 2nd of the month.
You can check this from your Maybank2U account on 1st or 2nd, else I you can only see it in your next statement. smile.gif
If you don't have a M2U account, suggest you to have one. You can check all the transactions online without waiting for the statement and can pay bills like UniFi and TNB via M2U and can choose to pay using your AmEx. smile.gif

hi everyone,

this morning i check my m2u page, found out that i have this RM500 ezypay cashbank campaign II thing rebate into my maybank visa card, which, i never use for transaction......most transactions were on my amex card....if i'm the winner of this campaign, they usually rebate into the visa card not the amex card?

anyway did anyone else get this ? i check at the promotion page only see the announcement of ezypay cashbank campaign I.....i dont remember i participate,cz maybe longtime ago, but maybe i did because i usually will participate if i know there are some campaign going on.

jz curious....i wish they had rebate into my amex card tho....
*
I believe you can transfer the cash back to your AmEx account. Try calling their CS. smile.gif

That cash back was redeemed for GST RM50, should be same case??

I can. Yes, mine was GST. hmm.gif
There was one year I forgot to redeem and paid myself as the due date had approached, then I redeemed and credited to my Visa. I called and asked to transfer to my AmEx. hmm.gif

Tried to buy something from Lazada and payment was rejected twice using Visa. Once is out of stock. doh.gif Another time just unsuccessful. I'm just too lazy to call Maybank now, so I used my other card and went through.

I think it could be I have hit my CL, I just counted and luckily my flight ticket was accepted yesterday... Will call them later when I wake up to know the real reason and find out my CL status. Bought too many things in the past one week. blush.gif January due date is only in the mid of the month, worse comes to worst if CL is hit and I need to use it, I will clear off my outstanding without waiting till mid of the month. tongue.gif

went to maybankard centre in 1U to apply for M2C on Monday (5/1) and arrived at 11.30am. I was the first customer. submitted 3 months payslips & bank statement and was told the cards will be ready in 2 hours time. Went back again to the card centre at 1.30pm and the cards were not ready. waited another 15 minutes to get the cards.

Happy to get the 2 cards but abit upset with the CL given. Lower than what i expected. I think Maybank is stingy in this. I have other bank combined limit > 4 times higher than M2C. Anyway, will appeal for the limit increase again.
*
Is the CL 2.5x or 3x of your monthly salary? If yes, then Maybank follows BNM regulations.

because I accidentally missed the duedate twice and they didn't want to revise the rate anymore. So, I arranged full payment and cut the card. That's the reason. It probably bad move as well as I just do not use it for 12 months to reset the interest but that is way too long. I am thinking reapply would be a shorter one to get back 8.88%?
*
Er, why don't you try BT rather than the interest? 8.88% is still high though.

Well, regardless of whether it is true or not they shouldn't be threatening customers like this! I did not apply for a Visa so I have the right to reject it. Pushing something that I don't want in my face is not the polite way of treating a customer.
*
Just to let you know I applied for VISA but MasterCard came. So I called and informed them accordingly that I applied for VISA and didn't expect for MasterCard. So what they did was resent me a new VISA and at the same time terminated my MasterCard. smile.gif

It was my MBB2Cards as well and that was 4 years ago. smile.gif

i do not know what kind of tone and attitude the person spoke to you..
if just merely informing you the information, i do not see it as threaten..

just because u getting visa and not mastercard and lose the potential of at least RM600 cashback, do you think really worth it?
i suggest you to take the card 1st, then call to CS and explain to them the situation, i believe they will be more than happy to issue mastercard to you and cancel the visa later on..
*
Yes, I believe it was just a miscommunication and that happened to my case. So I told them though I wasn't happy that this thing happened, but I'm willing to keep the MasterCard until they reissue me a new VISA which they gladly did. smile.gif
Anyway, it went well.

Think back, I kinda regretted after that for VISA. laugh.gif

For my card upgrade later, I will change to MasterCard. laugh.gif Lazada used to have MC sales but I think ended on 31st Dec, I do believe similar sales will come back soon. laugh.gif

thank you. Do you know how long the process are? Will I fasten the process if i straight go to KLCC branch?

I will paying my kitchen cabinet for 15k this week and planning to pay using card. But my limit now only 10k. Anyone know how much they can increase based on payslip?
*
10k to 15k is like 50% increase.
If your monthly pay is 2.5x or 3x can reach 15k, there is a possibility.

My CL was increased by 50% but my salary also increased by 50%.

I don't do payroll, so I can't change any figure. Haha.
Pure luck la, I'm not considered very outstanding, just blessed with opportunities. smile.gif If you want to know I started working in 2010, my current salary is 1.5x times of my first salary. Still in the same company since I interned in 2009. biggrin.gif
Not too bad I would say. blush.gif

Your first salary must be high since now you are eligible for plat card already laugh.gif I also started in 2010 but guess not as outstanding  sweat.gif

Should be a MNC? Normally loyalty doesn't pay in SME (at least not in an IT company)

Actually I started quite low but the second year onwards were quite rewarding I must say. biggrin.gif
Yes, it's a MNC. biggrin.gif

actually the GST guideline for banking/financial institution already stated it clearly what is taxable and non-taxable.

questions remained uncertain on what the banks will do to their cards. on one hand to increase card usage/spending, on the other to curb excessive debt/overspending due to cards.

i wonder BNM will intervene later  sweat.gif
*
Actually no GST but there is AF from bank, and usually AF is higher than GST, not sure it is a good news. sweat.gif laugh.gif

QUOTE(tifosi @ Jan 13 2015, 09:51 AM)
No worries. It's good so I can set you as a benchmark to achieve more this year laugh.gif
In future, AF will be harder to get waived I guess since once they waive, the banks need to fork out additional 6% to pay the govt.
*
laugh.gif Cannot la, we are from different industry, different specialization. If I were to use the same method as yours, I will kill myself. People at my age, engineers are already earning 5 figures. So, what's mine? I'm just a HR, so have to be fair when doing benchmark. tongue.gif

Yes, I read about the AF part. hmm.gif

Guys question from me..im new with this card..im having a dual plat card amex m visa..wad does it meanby 8.88% p.a ??im having an outstanding balance. Rm40.14..
*
That only needs to be concerned if you don't pay your bill on time.
So long you pay your statement balance as per the date mentioned in your M2U, then there won't be any interest imposed to you. smile.gif

so in this case, my rm40.14 will be added by 8.88%? how about the 17%?what is that?
*
Honestly speaking, I'm very bad in interest calculation.
So long, you pay before due date or on due date (via M2U) then you shouldn't be charged with any interest.
Interest is the thing I'm least concerned about.
