QUOTE MYGOZONE: Many of the gamers are confused over the "cyber cafe sponsorship" ruling. Just what is the relationship between the gamers/teams and cyber cafes and how will that work out? Frankie: Basically how the "cyber cafe sponsorship" works is, the cyber cafe registers itself for ACG, and they'll need to find the gamers to represent them. The gamers that are intrested, will then have to work out their own deal with the respective cafe in the event that any prize money is won. Alternatively, the cyber cafes could conduct their own internal tournament, ensuring that the best gamer/team in their area would be representing them for ACG. Wah lau...it will be hard for participants then... Ok now, which CC want to offer a place for Proton Rally? I want to try out |

Went to the ACG pre-launch at Citetel Mid Valley today, nothing much happening except for the Guild Wars pVp mini-competition.
There's no Proton Rally playable demo available at the event just now but according to Mr. Frankie, E-Club's Director of Marketing (wow, very nice fellow Checkout (and laugh if you want) the trailer here --> http://www.asiancybergames.com/trailer.html This post has been edited by chapree: Sep 18 2006, 12:35 AM |

The current mini tournaments that are going around at the cyber cafes are for promoting purposes. To create more awareness regarding ACG and also the games. If you want to get more info on the mini tournaments listed, you can find more at the asiancybergames.com website. If you want more info on the Guild Wars side of things, you can also check at guildwars.e-clubmalaysia.org website. Any questions you can do so at the forums of those particular websites.
The next mini tourney will be at FTZ cyber cafe at SS15 this Sunday. There will be a mini random 4vs4 tournament for Guild Wars (vets and newbies alike can join) and also a 6vs6 DoD tournament. This post has been edited by Koross: Nov 28 2006, 11:10 AM |

Since you are more familiar with 'em, how about updating us the clueless here? |
