IT in non-IT company means one leg kick handling everything about IT and with a power cord including programming, database management, back up, troubleshooting, printer jam, projector setting up, loud speaker, camera, etc...

You stay long enough they promote you to a IT manager, but you have to work like no tomorrow before that. After promotion even need to work extra no tomorrow.

I cannot see my daylight in this job.

Are u sure about that? IT in non IT computer is actually involving setting up pc,stroubleshooting them, and thats all.Not so serious like what u said.

the first portion is true.but u said work like no tommorow cannot be la.if u cannot fulfil the task in time required, the company will suffer lose.i'm sure the boss will employ more engineers.

I am pretty sure about that, a little extra bonus is you might get a change to learn how to troubleshoot a photocopier.

For those lucky guys company will consider hire more guys, but for MOST companies all they think about save cost, use whatever available, and get it done no matter how you do it!

Not enough people? Hire more. Not enough resource? Buy more. This is usually not the case.

Also, they expect you to know everything. So dont expect anyone sitting there to teach you. Just remember that google is your best friend.

For a company that dont even has internet access... good luck.
