Was a DirectD yesterday as well. So tempted to buy. But as I was looking at the Asus website, the PowerBoost feature or adapter is only bundled in the 2.3GHz and 4GB version.

Anyway, I will wait out till next week to see if it will be out.

Anyhow, do share how the phone performs. Any lag or heavy battery discharge. Also, are you using 2 SIMs or single SIM. I am assuming using 2 SIMs will have heavier toll on the battery. Do also comment on the SIM management, such as ability to set primary SIM for calls.

Actually I'm kinda doubt the "myth" of Asus device can't update via OTA if outside of the region the device using that you guys bought.

I bought 2 Zen fone from Direct D 6 mths ago.

Zenfone 6 which is AP set and Zenfone 5 which is Ori set.

The 5 could detect upgrade was available but when I try the 6, it always says up to date.

But too bad, my 6 the screeb already KO.

Now waiting for the Ori 4gb ver

never bought ap set..if got problem,memang susah..directd warranty services always get complained..
go for ori set instead..

Saw on DirectD FB they mention ze551ml 4gb ram 32gb 2.3ghz is available. Went to their branch at Federal HW no stock has to preorder. But the sales mention since this is AP, the forward upgrade will need to be done by DirectD technician instead of OTA. I thought masmanmz mention he manage to perform OTA.

Could you test out the GPS performance (speed and stability on locking)? I hope Intel/Asus managed to beef up the GPS in their newer SoC because my currrent ZF5's GPS is very poor and unreliable.

Are u using dual sim or single sim?
If single sim, the SOT is way too low....

when u install apps,whatsapp n browsing, u using mobile data or wifi
if mobile data then the SOT quite good
