This is the image of the pedestrian bridge before it fell down.

Strong winds hitting the big billboard is the most likely cause of the accident. How and why the authorities can approve such a big billboard to be attached to the pedestrian bridge...

by looking a the condition of fall;

I would judge it's not intact properly, it didnt collapse since the base concrete remains standing strong;

Majlis Perbandaran / Bandaraya should have quarterly fitness check on public used facilities;

eg. Taman Permainan, Jejantas, Jambatan etc.

best thing is my friend say a lot of foreigners still use that bridge when they come back from work!!...seems like they are use to bridges without rails....and dun play play, lorry and buses pass down below very fast
