Is step 5 is necessary? I have update to 38R without step 5, will it cause any harm if I didnt wipe cache after update to 38R?

Recommended to wipe dalvik+cache. Else if no impact (like apps fc) on your device, then should be fine.

Especially because I rarely want to reboot the phone, and when the need comes (like after updated xposed module and etc) I make sure to enjoy the cool boot animation while it last. =)

Any of u guys using the Quiet mode? Mine seems to b not working when I set to the specific time. My HP still have sound. Pls help....

Another thing I'm facing. U guys got use the Public Bank app (PB engage)? I get a msg saying my HP is rooted therefore I can't use the app. Any work around?

from a question from v7 thread.

I got my 38R OTA. i do have 2 fren with 16GB and 64GB. mine is 16GB btw.

both 16GB have no issue with OTA. the 64GB have to sideload updates.

Did your 64GB friend do any mods on his phone?
Also storage have nothing to do with OTA.
AP set? Maybe a bad flash, so just reflash, dl rom from the official cm site.
