QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Oct 22 2014, 04:55 AM) Ada experience sikit so its easy to understand the guide QUOTE(Haters_Gonna_H8 @ Oct 22 2014, 06:46 AM) now i know why people who updated to 38R via OTA keep getting problems like random reboots, flickering screen, etc. I dont know if its only me or what, after unlocking the bootloader (not yet root), my OPO feel 'different',haih... just realized upon flashing the true full rom.. many functions and features were missing on the OTA zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and again. restoring was fast, backing up took longer time QUOTE(harizdesu @ Oct 22 2014, 11:23 AM) Network speed indicator - not interestedBlurred system ui - will check it out, thanks! |

Read somewhere in this forum that we might lose various system file which contains data of the radio/phone ID etc, which make our phone as an expensive paper weight. May i know in what situation we might lose those data?

QUOTE(DannyOP @ Oct 22 2014, 09:01 PM) Normal usage something like this won't happen lah, unless during installation of new rom you do a full format. If u r the type that just use stock rom and don't change any settings the phone won't delete user data by itself. This is more of a user backside itchy problem and not any particular phone problem. Yes, it happened before and i know it will only happened if someone messing it around with the data. Did i said that it happen by itself? Thats why im asking in what situation it could happened.Im starting to learn on rooting and flashing thats why im asking. To be prepared. Dont just call me paranoid. Maybe the way im phrasing my Q makes you misunderstood my Q |

QUOTE(DannyOP @ Oct 22 2014, 10:01 PM) Yes, by default your statement did say that because it is not conditional unlike your reply lol. If u mention about rooting then it's a totally different scenario. Thats impressive. How many hours on battery? It is hard for me to gauge my battery life and SOT, coz im using wifi hotspot at home, and drained alot of juice even when im not using my phone.Btw I just managed to hit 8hr sot for the first time and it's not using Cynogenmod cm11s, this time it's a combo of Vanir rom and Franco r27. |

QUOTE(wayfeel @ Oct 22 2014, 10:24 PM) Yes, wifi saving more juice than data. But wifi hotspot is not normal wifi, wifi hotspot is sharing internet connection of the phone to any devices. Its must emits it own wifi signals and using data connection. Thats why it using more juice like in my case. |
