It's up to you, just listen to my advice. Make a backup before trying anything funny with mod and hack

reboot your device
doesnt matter bootloop or not
power off
go into recovery mode
then apply the fix

thats wht i plan to do. i will do backup the data once i return to twrp again. tis is my business phone, many important info i cannot lose...

i flash cuz I want clean start. as i always do when i'm free. especially when using lots and lots of mods. if i lazy i dirty flash only. still works but my mentality says its not clean.

I just backup data only in twrp ok kah. assuming its my important documents and media files?

documents and media not included in twrp AFAIK, unless there are advanced settings.

by default it should backup your rom, apps + data, settings, etc. but no include media. if not the size will be very big.

on average, nandroid size should be between 3-5gb depending on the amount of data your app have.

documents I always backup in Google Drive, Mp3 in Dropbox. and pretty much everything else in Google + Photos app(they are sooo much flexible now can backup much more folders with media, and will ask some more if new media is found inside that folder).

like yesterday, i accidentally wiped my Nexus 5. Peace of mind. haha.

yes. I applied the bootloop cmlockscreen fix and it worked , my work data safe. Tq so much. tonight can sleep well...
