Hi, I just got my MSI GE72-2QE for near 3 weeks.l Starting a week ago, when i play games, i realized that the LEFT FAN is the only fan spinning fast and loud (audible spinning fan sound from my seat) but the RIGHT FAN isn't spinning at all (cant hear spinning sound even i put my ear on the vent or any air output).
I have my SHIFT gear always at 'GREEN'. I rebooted my PC before.
So is this indicating a faulty fan hardware? How long does it takes for the fix if I bring it to MSI service centre? within few hours or need to leave it there (which i dont hope so for minor fix)?

QUOTE(miong93 @ Apr 3 2015, 01:25 PM) Have you tried to switch on the so called "turbo boost cooler" ? Both should be spinning. For your case, I think one of the fan is not spinning because only the gpu/cpu is heating up ? Most game utilize gpu more and won't use up much of cpu so maybe that's the reason only one of the fan is spinning only. so i tried to use the turbo boost cooler button and i can feel the right fan spinning now. However the RIGHT FAN is not as strong as LEFT FAN. so my question is 1. why left fan is more intense compare to right fan? 2. why at maximum, with turbo boost cooler, both fan does not have same max RPM?

Hi,
I have GE72 2QE. I had keyboard replacement however in the process of repairing by service centre, they spoiled my LCD cable and need to wait 2 weeks. So I'm bringing back to use with external monitor via HDMI (no internal display). I've done recovery via msi burnrecovery which image i did when i first bought. Now I'm having issue with my Nvidia graphic card where it didnt want to switch to my nvidia card when i play game. - I did set the game to use Nvidia card. - Also tried to set global to Nvidia but still same. - tried reinstall nvidia driver, experience, phyx with driver cleaner too but still same - flashed BIOS to latest for - turn off Intel HD 4600 adapter in device manager(and even worse lag) - updated windows 8.1 all updates.
the symptoms is when i start my game, the power button will turn orange for awhile and it switch back to blue, then during loading it will switch to orange and blue back again and remain blue during the game. I'm getting Framerate bad as 4-6FPS while i shud get 60FPS. Monitored NVIDIA GPU activity but doesn't seems that it uses Nvidia in anyway.
Nvidia Driver : 353.62 (tried 353.30 too) Nvidia Experience: 2.5.12.11 Intel HD Driver: 10.18.14.4251 Windows 8.1
Please help.

Hi all, I have some framerate issue if im have a game running (either in fullscreen window mode or fullscreen mode) and then opening a video (any video either from windows media player, quicktime, youtube, facebook, and any video) , my game framerate will become low/ sluggish. The issue happen even with my game window/screen as active (im controlling the game). The low game framerate issue stop immedietly when i stop the video from playing and reoccur when i play the video.
The Discreet/integrated graphic LED (power button LED) still remain amber all the way. I have 965M (GE72-2QE) and my friend have 960M (PE62) and he didn't experience this issue.
Nvidia driver and Experience is latest. Battery mode is high performance.
I suspect I might have tweak some configuration that causes this. Anyone know? Kindly assist.
