Well, I looked around penang. All of those seller only sell at srp.

Then I searched around lyn, there is a 3rd floor Evernew at lowyat plaza, which offered me at 41xx.

Googled, but found a lot of complain regarding its salesman.

Should I buy from there? Also afraid of 2nd hand or cloned set

Hi, any msi laptop owner successfully convert ur ODD drive into hdd/ssd slot using caddy drive?

Found a shop at Penang Prangin Mall selling Akasa brand caddy drive that support 9mm to 12mm drive.

Tonite will send my PE70 to change the ODD drive to caddy drive + 512G ssd.

Installation done.  caddy + installation RM50.

Guys I need help! I'm planning to purchase MSI GE62 6QC in Subang Jaya Mega mall (MSI CONCEPT SHOP) at RM4399 but I have a concern. If something happens to my laptop (example : Internal fault, damaged / scratches) do I have to go down to Megamall again for services? (I'm from Penang but in vacation in Subang Jaya now) or I can just went to Penang's MSI concept shop in KOMTAR for services? (Same applies to warranty) I can buy it right away or should I buy it back in Penang?

Confirmed my PE70 skylake LED panel is from Chi Mei model CMN1735.  Is it IPS?

can return and get refund if spec given is not according to the catalog/spec ?

If they put ips panel ....then actual not giving ips panel ... who knows any other spec/hardware that theyare not follow .... 

Hi,I'm having the same issue with my GT72 model. I'll get a yellowish/reddish tint on the the screen whenever the background is pure white. The new line of GE models don't seem to have this issue though as I've compared the models side by side. I managed to fix this problem by calibrating screen colour manually, by reducing the red hue by slightly. You can just delete whatever "True Color" application installed on the PE line, in my honest opinion it's complete garbage and just a gimmick.

Conclusion
MSI had variation on LCD Panel from version to version, please check your panel type if you really concern for IPS/PN/PLS and colour accuracy.

Sorry for being a bit off topic here. (Since u guys are discussing about the latest skylake msi pe60 with cheap display panel). I heard that the broadwell msi pe60 has this bsod bug: BSOD MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION error. One retailer I asked mentioned that broadwell msi pe60 is well known with this bsod bug. Is that true? Anybody here can confirm this?

Not ok for me...for the price it is asking I want to use desktop cpu...also I would prefer they use the dragon as the paint job...I dun play hero of storm...I did go check out at my local msi dealer price around rm16k but still use 980m I want the desktop 980 gtx but they say can't confirm the spec

Malaysia do bring in but only the 980m sli rm16k sure leave a big black hole in my pocket
