Guys, any news about the 8th gen intel CPU will be available for MSI laptops?

Just wondering will MSI Malaysia consider to bring in the latest 8th Gen MSI GS63VR 8RE?

Wait I thought we are allowed to do our own upgrades as long we don't damage mobo/gpu/cpu... At least that what acer told me. I haven't heard back from msi...

I wanted to ask/confirm

GP63 8RE model has 2 pcie m.2 slots right. Does this mean we can have 3 storage in this laptop?

I am not happy with msi GP63-8RE-299MY. Its poorly design. Even without undervolting at default it's showing yellow light for EDP OTHER. If you start using it like having MeMu (android emulator) it will blink red. Which means it's throttling due to current limit being exceeded.

The warning is in Throttlestop app to undervolt the laptop. Usually blinking red means its throttling.

this is annoying...one button on this keyboard has gone again. The "J" button is suddenly hard to press. This is the second keyboard issue I've experienced on MSI in less than 12 months! No wonder SteelSeries keyboards got bad reviews.

Anyone know how to DIY this? Might just be a spring or dust stuck under the keys. The service centre is just too far and I won't have a laptop to use for 2 weeks =.=

MSI/Highpoint is greedy. They wanted rm4800 for repair of rm5600 laptop. Which now current price is rm5200 without any online discounts. I confirm its only the mobo dead. I will in future look at dell and others who include accidental damage protection.

my MSI laptop 1 fan making noise, no more warranty, did send to laptop shop for checking

at first i suspect is dust block, but the laptop shop tell me is fan problem

can i just buy the fan from online, and change it by myself? around RM50 only, but i don't know how......

send back to service center will cost me few hundred

Any reviews for the GL63 with 1660ti? Interested in it, or should I wait for the upcoming GL65?
