GS65? Accompanying teaser video sure looks like the 65.

QUOTE(Pharamain @ Mar 30 2018, 10:56 AM) Yes,I can mostly confirm is a new GS series with it's compact size. Yesterday my friend who working at a tech media in Malaysia share me this, and he said it is ok for me to share it out too, but I have no other details regarding this model. Full specs leaked edi lol. Coffee Lake i7-8750H + 1060/1070MQ combo. M2 SSD only, no space for a spinner it seems. Also, Intel 9560, TB3 and a 144hz 7ms FHD display or a 4k panel depending on SKU (no idea if TN or IPS, but I'm betting TN for the 144hz panel due to the quick response). Is it possible that this will be the new MSI Coffee Lake laptop? and the monitor look much better from previous models, maybe a 144hz?, what do you think? That said, I'm liking the design (especially the per-key RGB). A shame they can't fit a full num KB in there though (and no, it can be done for a lappy that size, trust me), but least the beveled edges make things look neat, like there's very little wasted space. Also, expect improved speakers over the GS63 as per rumors over from the NBR forums... Though if there's ONE thing that I fear is that the increased thinness is gonna result in worse cooling (and the GS63VR is already quite bad at that to begin with)... and hopefully they made the LCD hinge stronger this time. Finally that 144hz screen must be killer on battery life, but I'm thinking MSI sacrificed spinner space for a bigger battery so it shouldn't be worse then the 63 at least. So yeah, this and the Aero 15/15X MK2 and... *LET THE MINIMAL BEZEL WARS COMMENCE!* This post has been edited by Eiraku: Mar 30 2018, 03:44 PM |

QUOTE(Cimo @ Apr 5 2018, 09:09 PM) 2 SSD slots IINM. Also chassis looks (and by the looks of some reviews already up, ARE) as flexy (or even more so) than the GS63VR as I've initially suspected... so yeah. That said, I still think it looks stunning though, and whatever reservations I have against the flexiness is pretty moot if you baby your laptop (REALLY baby your laptop) so YMMV. QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Apr 14 2018, 03:39 PM) There was even a short while that I thought even the 1060 was MQ lol, as someone on the net typoed. But logically if it can do 1070MQ, is should be able to do 1060N/Max-P fine.Logically ler anyway. The NBC full dive review isn't up yet so it's all assumptions for now.
