Ok... I have experimented my laptop for 2 weeks, and I would like to conclude that:
MSI GE60 2PE... Not recommended. The cooling system is very bad, causing constant CPU and GPU throttling.
Even Notebookcheck review also shows GPU throttling.

Hey ZRong,

I've got a few friends who are using the GE60 (even one college student who games overnight every weekend, Lols!)
and no issue of CPU or GPU throttling wohh. At what point did the bottleneck happen?

Btw, are you referring to this article by Notebookcheck? They reviewed the GE60 with Nvidia 860M GPU and some of the comments also stated that Furmark isn't a recommended stress tester as Nvidia throttles their cards when they detect that program running. Seems it's to protect the card from the 'extreme electrical currents' generated from the Furmark test.

Anyways, hope you can share your experience on this as there are sifus here to help.

Good luck and all the best with your gaming! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Bro, the youtube is not my laptop, it's just for illustration purposes only.

Anyways, the laptop suddenly can boot up again, I think it's due to the Windows 8.1 update and it reverted back to the last known good configuration so it is able to boot up again.

My model is the GP60-2QF Leopard Pro
