Guy,

Any chance to get the Soul Red Metallic or Jet Black Mica in Malaysia market??

Saw a article from <link removed> saying that CKD Mazda Soul Red might be an option in the future....

Guy, curious about the Carsome.com.my offer. It stated a normal Mazda CX-5 2.0L SkyActiv 2WD GL Retail Price: RM 132,672.63. Then overall the received offered from all the seller is less than RM130,000.00 included GST and insurance. Seem like a good deal, but anyone accepted before the offer from Carsome.com.my and may I know the feedback of the pricing from this website. Thanks.

Guy, just got my ride. Confuse on the i-Stop function, once I turn on the engine I've turn off the i-stop (no light indicated on the display). Then after driving around and when I reach traffic light and stop completely the i-stop function suddenly kick in, but I thought I've turn off the i-stop function from the beginning. Mind to share what the correct way to turn off the i-stop???

you have to press and hold the i-stop button for like 2 secs until you hear the beep sound
there's an orange indicator light on the dashboard to show that it's disabled

Got it thanks.

dry.gif Lol, hope it worth to spend on the 0W-30..

Just out of curiosity, read the owner manual and it stated best to use 0W-20 from Mazda genuine EO or from Castrol EO.

Mazda genuine engine oil, do Mazda do have this?? And when check through the castrol website, don't see any 0W-20 EO also.

Mind share some info. biggrin.gif

Mazda only have Shell Ultra 5W40 and 0W30 for fully synthetic and semi synthetic Shell HX7 5W30.....only Shell....0W30 much better compare to Fully 5W40 and Semi 5W40 but not as good as others good EO....

Head down to Bermaz PJ for my 1000km service, requested 0W-30 and mentioned that I'm willing to pay for the top up for this EO. In the end, the SC use the normal stock EO Semi 5w-30 for me. The counter told me that their technician decline to use 0w-30 for the petrol type car and it just for diesel type car. Hopefully this 5w-30 won't feel sluggish when 7000km.

Wish to write in officially to Bermaz to allow owner to bring in own EO (the recommended brand and type) for servicing. Quite unfair for the owner, just because the SC want to profit from it.

Hey Guy, the latest 5 years warranty and 3 years free maintenance is applicable to the model bought after April?? Cause I've heard from one of the seller in even car bought on March also applicable for that 5 years warranty. Is this true??

Hi Guy,

Even with trip B, the display won't show the car temperature??

Mazda is expecting all owner to pop up the hood and check the coolant?? Or they are so confident that the car won't overheat. dry.gif

when you are viewing/test driving the car...didn't you ask the SA ?

Never thought about asking this features as it will be quite standard to have it, just curious why Mazda does not include it.

it's advisable to read the manual when you collect your new car...some ppl don't understand that

I did read the manual, again my question is out of curiously why Mazda just dint include that temperatures gauge reading. As mention by Chuah, now most of the car maker did not provide it anymore.
Maybe now everyone is expecting less (features/display) is better.

Physical harm? I doubt it. Though, the TPMS system will nag you to reset/calibrate it again..

Got it, thanks.

Did most of the SA mentioned anything about the new Soul Red CX-5 for Malaysia market?? Have a feeling that Malaysia won't get it though.
