Hi. May i know what is the different between GL and FL?
*
GL... cheapest/lowest end CX-5
FL... newest face-lift model...

so you can get a FL with a GL spec....

Query: For CX-5 without i-stop tech.... could it use regular wet-cell batteries?... instead of the costly deep cycle ones.....

i've been reading about CX-5 in here quite a bit, and found out that the battery is quite pricey due to the usage nature of the Skyactive technology
is this still a thing? as the one i read forumer posted in this forum was from last year
if yes, how much does it cost for battery replacement?
and how frequent we generally need to replace the battery?
*
To be specific... the i-stop tech needs a deep cycle battery...... hence more expensive...

However last year's model, (probably still available in some showrooms) without i-stop tech can utilise normal lead-acid batteries...

Just wondering, how was the 2.5L 2WD FC if come w/ 19" Rims?
Not much ppls talk about 2.5L 2WD FC here in this thread, SA told me not much different from 2.0L 2WD but would like to know from the actual user feedbacks.

Thx

Unless you own both cars ... you cannot really make a valid comparison... but generally 2.5 will use (slightly) more fuel, though one benefit of 2.5L 2WD.... low end torque, max at 3k rpm.

Still running the first tank full... note both the 2.0 & 2.5L has the 56L tank.

The 2.5L has a 58L tank, according to the official brochure. Minor difference.
