If we were to install the new tint, woule it be advisable to remove the current skytint or just stick on top of it? Can pls advise. Thanks.

We will advise to remove the current skytint and install a new one.

Reasons, too thick, will cause your power window motor to damage over time.

CX5 2.5 CBU facelift owners: what's your fuel consumption so far? Mine has settled at 10.0L/100km after 1000km. According to the car info display. Far from the advertised 7.8-8.7 L/100km. Mine is balanced city & highway driving.

The quoted figures are probably under testing or ideal conditions. Mine is showing 11.0L/100kms in mixed KL driving.

Looks normal then. Screenshot shows the FC after a return trip to KL city centre. something like 80% hwy, moderate jam in city. Today observed again after a return trip to PJ with minimal jam, FC for that trip alone was 7.4L/100km.

@bimmer , what engine oil r u using , semi or fully syn? Petrol ron95 or 97?

Thanks @bimmer

Actually when my car first got delivered it really was stuck at 10.x L/100km no matter what driving conditions. Since the 1st service which I requested fully syn oil to be used, it seems to have settled closer to 8.5 L/100km. Makes me wonder if they purposely used semi syn when the car is being delivered. Or maybe no relation at all...

Anyone can recommend a good forum / FB group dedicated to CX5 issues?

2) No.
3) No. Manual only.
