That means, spend a cumulative total of RM985 to achieve RM100 cashback, effective rate is about 10.15% i've simulated the calculation (on paper), you need to all 3 categories to achieve highest cashback rate with the lowest spending wow, you guys are really "geng". getting 10x RM50 is already a big hassle and adding RM985 to it.. too much for me

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Apr 29 2015, 05:40 PM) dont bother much about RM985. it's just to test the maximum return from the card. as long as you can achieve 10X RM50, the card is quite good dy. I myself couldnt hit 10X RM50, so i help paying mobile bills/grocery from my household and reload TnG card  for Grocery, i meticulously group items into RM50+ per swipe, then swipe each group one after another (gotta have thick skin when ppl queueing behind you stares fiercely at you! LOL!) I have been hitting 10x RM50 for more than 1.5 years and I am very happy with this card. In case if I did not hit the 10X, I will go to Maxis Cash Deposit machine and pay for my next month bill hehe .. OR go to AEON Big and buy their RM50 Gift card. QUOTE(legolego @ May 14 2015, 12:08 AM) Quick question, if I pay TNB bill (total RM500) with RM50 x 10 times of transaction, does this eligible for 10x mini RM50 transaction and hence I could enjoy the 10% cash back? Yes, eligible

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ May 21 2015, 09:37 AM) cut off date is still month end right, ie 30th and 31st? i seldom get merchants reporting slower than 2 days for maybank, unless it's online shopping. to stop spending by 26th seems overkill to me Yes, as long as posting date is 31st/30th then you are safe. I would advise you to stop using it 2 days before the last day of the month (i.e 29 if 31st and 28 if 30th)

QUOTE(ytan053 @ May 25 2015, 03:29 PM) my 3 categories are mobile, utilities and petrol. just wanna confirm will auto billing (maxis, dgi, tnb) be eligible for the 10% cash back? is it done on the respective site (ie go to maxis page, digi page and sign up for auto billing)? wise card thread #2 mentioned similar thing, just wanna confirm. tks! tried auto-debit for my maxis fibre and got 10% rebate.
