Hi.. all.. hope this forum still active. I been diagnosed with pituitary tumor in end of 2018. It started I have this to bitemporal upper quadrantanopia when I do eyes check up. I got a tumor from 3.2cm grow to 4.3cm in April 2019.
Which cause me have double vision. Initially when to Sunway do MRI then Beacon MRI with contrast. Doc Lee suggest me to surgery. Base on MRI I found out that the tumor it too big to do operatio as it too near to Many brand and eyes nerve. It also cover the whole pituitary gland. But Doc Lee insisted me do operation as if not I might have 1-2yrs life.
To cut thing show I when Sunway medical, tungshi, pantai and Thomson. I know I super Kia si... Get so many doc for opinion as my daughter only 7...... So end up I took endocrinology doc advise from Thomson hospital. He ask me do blood test and found my prolactin is way too high. To to reduce it, I been taken cabergoline pill for my treatment. Since April till now. Didn't see and neurology or neurosurgeon. Recently MRI should shine shrinking of the tumor, but my vision still not good. Recently my company change monitor cause me unable read properly and create alot of mess. FYI, my job scope is log case from email and phone. My symptoms are, double vision unable to park my car straight now, mood change very fast. Frequently headach, dizzyness once a blue moon, constipation 5-7days no shit.. weight gain, arm numbness, persistent cough for more and 3mth and which is recently extremely tireless (last mth). I already inform my Endocrinology Dr., He said I'm ok. Yesterday my Bo's already give me written warning letter due to my mistake too frequent that effect my department. I requested number of time to change department and they reject. They want to leave the company. I can't leave due to my children need financial support. Do you think if I visit neurology or neurosurgeon will i able to get long MC since my tumor do show shrink abit.

I'm 32 yrs old. I'm now undergoing the kentogenic diet as recommended by my friend who did not operate removing tumor but heal after 1 month by starting the diet.

I did not have the chance to speak to my surgeon requesting MC as his assistant rejected my request immediately through phone call when she learnt that I refused to do surgery immediately.

I'm puzzled. Should the doctor respect my decision and issue MC according to my condition?

How your condition? Is kentogenic diet work?
