ok so i have a friend intro me to play this game and I've downloaded the starter pack and before I know it, i've already spend few hours in this game.

so eventually i finished the 1st quest and i cant go any further.

so i'm considering to buy this game since there's some discount right now. but i'm not really sure if i should do so because it seems like from what i saw / read online, this game is more to grinding and pray to the almight rng gods.

doing the same thing over and over and over again.?

honest opinions is appreciated.

If you are looking to complete the story/quest and have the accomplishment of beating Diablo 3, I suggest you go to your friend's house to complete the game. Wouldn't take you more than few days to complete the game. Considering that you have not played the game beforehand. It takes only 1 day to complete the game for veteran players.

If you are looking to compete in leaderboards or challenge your friend's to some records, then you may consider to buy the game since it is at a discounted rate now. Of course, this requires zombie-like grinding for gears for RNG god.

In short, play the game to beat the boss (Diablo) = don't buy. Play the game to be ranked in leaderboards = buy.
