I get it for RM1050 at last biggrin.gif Could you help me to check whether normal for the information below?

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The temperature is 4x which I think quite high for idle? sad.gif I'm in the air cond room by the way sad.gif

thanks a lot sifu
*
the idle is higher cause Strixx have the 0db feature, the fans doesnt spin until 60C (or manually adjusted)

considering its on 40-50 its rather okay for a card that runs passively until the fan kicks in

you can buff up the casing fans to improve on cooling perf, but youre looking at decent gains (less 5C tops) depending on how well the fans cool it

I would punish that seller for another RM50. New Gainward GTX970 Phantom is RM1199 by the way.
*
Gainward nice? Leadtek i use before, never try Gainward, but RM1199 really nice pricing. smile.gif

Thanks for the advise guys. I tried uniengine heaven benchmark and the score is almost same in the goldfries benchmark result. But the only thing is the coil whine issue - - IT SUCKS sad.gif Anyone know how to fix it? sad.gif
*
almost alot GTX 970 facing the Coil Whine issue, is ok just make some noise.
MSI can adjust fan speed, dont know ASUS apps can setting or not, try check it.
cause Asus 970 fan wont spin below 60'c. blush.gif

The spec looks good. Higher factory overclock than Asus.

Yep I like the smart fan control thing. Mine also idling around 40c and top max about 70c when gaming. Hardly go over 80c. Very happy with it laugh.gif

Actually, I should have bought Gigabyte...I prefer the blinking Windforce wording laugh.gif

+1

http://www.overclock.net/t/1516121/gtx-970...-vs-gigabyte-g1

from the comparison, when talk about performance + overclock, Gigabyte G1 Gaming seems to have an edge over the MSI Gaming and Asus Strix (them force of the WIND!!!!!)

but when talk about low noise... still have competition, not to mention the longest of them three with 3x fans hmm.gif

Probably excluded to keep manufacturing costs as low as possible. Even Zotac, Palit and Gainward also doesn't come with the covers. So far I only find MSI, Asus and Gigabyte cards that will provide those covers.
